Cole Popovich (born February 15, 1985) is an American football coach who is the Assistant offensive line coach for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL).
Popovich was a four-year starter as left guard on the Fresno State Bulldogs football team from 2004 to 2007. He was also named a unanimous Freshman All-American in 2005. [1]
Popovich coached at the collegiate level for 5 seasons, working in various colleges such as Los Angeles Valley, Fresno City, Utah State, and Minot State [2] before joining the Patriots' staff in 2016. [3] He was part of the Patriots coaching staff that won Super Bowl LI. In the game, the Patriots defeated the Atlanta Falcons by a score of 34–28 in overtime. [4] Popovich won his second Super Bowl title when the Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams in Super Bowl LIII. [5] In 2020 it was announced that he would become the co-offensive line coach with Carmen Bricilloin order to replace Dante Scarnecchia. [6] [7]
On July 23, 2021, despite Bill Belichick desiring to keep Popovich on his offensive staff, it was reported that Popovich would not be coaching for the Patriots in 2021 due to reasons relating to the COVID-19 vaccine. [8] [9] Upon departing from the Patriots, Popovich instead spent the 2021 season as the offensive line coach for Franklin High School in nearby Franklin, MA. [10]
Popovich was hired by Jon Sumrall at Troy in January, 2022 to be the offensive line coach for the Trojans.
On February 23, 2023, Popovich was hired by the Houston Texans to be their Assistant offensive line coach. [11]
Popovich is married to his wife Jessica, and they have two sons. [2] He is distantly related to NBA coaching legend Gregg Popovich. [12]
Harold Wade Phillips is an American football coach who is currently the head coach of the San Antonio Brahmas of the United Football League (UFL). He has served as head coach of the Denver Broncos, Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys, and Houston Roughnecks. He has also served as interim head coach for the New Orleans Saints, Atlanta Falcons, and the Houston Texans. Additionally, Phillips has long been considered to be among the best defensive coordinators in the NFL. In his long career, he has served as defensive coordinator in eight separate stints with seven different franchises. Multiple players under Phillips' system have won Defensive Player of the Year: Reggie White, Bryce Paup, Bruce Smith, J. J. Watt and Aaron Donald. Others under Phillips have won Defensive Rookie of the Year: Mike Croel and Shawne Merriman. In Phillips' lone Super Bowl victory, a defensive player would be named Super Bowl MVP: Von Miller.
William LaQuayne Yates is an American football coach and former offensive guard who is the assistant offensive line coach for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Texas A&M and was signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2003.
Joshua Thomas McDaniels is an American football coach in the National Football League (NFL). He began his NFL career in 2001 with the New England Patriots, where he served as the offensive coordinator for 14 non-consecutive seasons. During McDaniels' first stint as offensive coordinator from 2006 to 2008, New England set the season record for points scored and won 16 of their 16 regular season games in 2007. In his second stint from 2012 to 2021, the Patriots won three Super Bowl titles. McDaniels was also among the Patriots personnel to be present for all six of their titles during the Brady–Belichick era.
Rick Steven Dennison is an American football coach and former linebacker who is currently the senior offensive assistant for the New Orleans Saints. He was the offensive line coach and run game coordinator for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL) from 2019-2020. An assistant in the NFL since 1995, he served as offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos, Houston Texans (2010–2013), and Buffalo Bills (2017), and served as quarterbacks coach for the Baltimore Ravens in 2014. He was the special teams coach for the Super Bowl Champion Broncos in 1997 and 1998. A linebacker who spent his entire NFL playing career in Denver from 1982 to 1990, he appeared in Super Bowls XXI, XXII, and XXIV.

Matthew Edward Patricia is an American football coach known for his career in the National Football League (NFL). He served fifteen non-consecutive seasons as an assistant coach with the New England Patriots, including six seasons as the defensive coordinator from 2012 to 2017. During Patricia's tenure as defensive coordinator, the Patriots won two Super Bowls and allowed the fewest points in 2016. Patricia also served as the Patriots' offensive playcaller in 2022.
William James O'Brien, nicknamed "the Teapot", is an American football coach who is currently the head coach at Boston College. Previously, he was the head coach of the Houston Texans from 2014 to 2020, and at Penn State from 2012 to 2013. Prior to Boston College, O'Brien was the offensive coordinator at the University of Alabama and for the New England Patriots. After the Patriots parted ways with longtime head coach Bill Belichick at the end of the 2023 season, O'Brien was not retained by the team.

He has previously been offensive line coach for the NFL's New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots, Indianapolis Colts, and New York Giants. DeGuglielmo was part of two Super Bowl-winning teams in his coaching career; the 2007 New York Giants and 2014 New England Patriots.

Shaquille Olajuwon Mason is an American professional football offensive guard for the Houston Texans of the National Football League (NFL). Mason played college football at Georgia Tech from 2011 to 2014 and was selected by the New England Patriots in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL draft.

He a graduate of Deming High School in Deming, New Mexico. He excelled in academics and sports, he played both offense and defense for the Deming High Wildcats. Moses then went on to continue his studies at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he earned his B.S. in Exercise Science.

Most recently, he had been the tight ends coach for the Las Vegas Raiders. Prior to that, Jerry was an assistant coach for Case Western Reserve for six seasons before becoming a part of the Patriots' staff in 2013. Schuplinski was part of the Patriots coaching staffs that won Super Bowl XLIX, Super Bowl LI, and Super Bowl LIII.
Carmen Bricillo is an American football coach who is the offensive line coach for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as an assistant coach for the Las Vegas Raiders and New England Patriots.
