Brennan Carroll (born March 20, 1979) is an American football coach. He is the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach for the University of Washington, a position he has held since 2024. He also coached for USC, Miami (FL), Arizona, and the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for Delaware and Pittsburgh as a tight end. He is the son of former New York Jets, New England Patriots, USC, Seattle Seahawks, and current Las Vegas Raiders head coach Pete Carroll and the brother of Carolina Panthers passing game coordinator Nate Carroll.
Carroll played high school football at Saratoga High School in Saratoga, California, graduating in 1997.
Carroll played college football as a tight end at the University of Pittsburgh (1999–2001), after transferring from the University of Delaware (1997).
In 2002, Carroll joined the USC Trojans staff as a graduate assistant under his father, head coach Pete Carroll. During his first season, he worked with offense and special teams, and switched to tight ends the next year. In 2004, he became the full-time assistant coach in charge of tight ends. In 2007, in addition to his work as an assistant coach, he became the recruiting coordinator. [1] Also in 2007, Trojans tight end Fred Davis, who Brennan coached, won the John Mackey Award, which goes to the nation's top tight end.
On December 22, 2010, Carroll joined Al Golden's staff at the University of Miami as the tight ends coach and recruiting coordinator. [2] On January 10, 2013, Carroll moved to wide receivers coach, while retaining the recruiting coordinator title, after the Hurricanes hired Mario Cristobal as associate head coach and tight ends coach. After thirteen years in the collegiate ranks, Carroll joined his first NFL staff on February 9, 2015, reuniting with his father Pete, head coach of the Seattle Seahawks. Carroll was the assistant offensive line coach, and was promoted to run game coordinator prior to the 2020 season.
On January 1, 2021, Carroll joined the University of Arizona staff under new head coach Jedd Fisch as offensive coordinator and offensive line coach; they had worked together at Miami. In 2023, Arizona improved to 10–3, concluding with a 38–24 win over Oklahoma in the Alamo Bowl; the Wildcats finished eleventh in both major polls.
Carroll was one of several coaches to follow Fisch to the University of Washington in 2024, where he was the offensive coordinator and offensive line coach.
On February 3, 2025, Carroll was hired by the Las Vegas Raiders to serve as the team's offensive line coach under his father, Pete. [4]
Carroll's father is NFL head coach Pete Carroll and his brother Nate was formerly the senior offensive assistant for the Seattle Seahawks. [5] Nate is now the passing game coordinator for the Carolina Panthers. [6]

Peter Clay Carroll is an American professional football coach who is the head coach for the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as head coach for the NCAA's USC Trojans (2001–2009) and the NFL's New York Jets (1994), New England Patriots (1997–1999), and Seattle Seahawks (2010–2023). Carroll is the third head coach to win both a college football national championship and a Super Bowl along with Jimmy Johnson and Barry Switzer.
Kenneth Howard Norton Jr. is an American professional football coach and former player who is the linebackers coach for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the UCLA Bruins and was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 1988 NFL draft.
Marques Tavita Tuiasosopo is an American college football coach and former professional player. He is the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for Rice University, positions he has held since 2021. He played as a quarterback for eight seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the Oakland Raiders and the New York Jets. Tuiasosopo played college football for the Washington Huskies and was selected by the Raiders in the second round of the 2001 NFL draft.
Golden Pat Ruel is a former American football coach. He was the offensive coordinator for Washington State from 1978 to 1981, Northern Illinois from 1985 to 1987, Kansas from 1988 to 1996, and offensive line coach for several National Football League (NFL) teams.

Gil Haskell is a former American football coach. A longtime assistant coach in the National Football League (NFL), he served as the offensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks from 2000 to 2008. He began his career in the NFL as a ball boy with the San Francisco 49ers while his uncle, William O'Grady, was a part owner of the franchise. Haskell grew up in St. Brendan's Parish in San Francisco and graduated from St. Ignatius College Preparatory in 1961. He played college football at San Francisco State University where he graduated from in 1966. He then coached football and track and field at both Archbishop Riordan High School from 1966 to 1968 and St. Ignatius from 1969 to 1977 where he was head coach of the football team. Haskell was later recognized by the San Francisco Prep Hall of Fame for his coaching contributions at both schools in 2018. Haskell then left for University of Southern California (USC), spending five seasons there as an assistant coach. He broke into the NFL as a coach in 1983 with the Los Angeles Rams, coaching special teams, running backs and tight ends for nine seasons. In 1992, he joined the Green Bay Packers where he became part of Mike Holmgren's staff for the first time as a running back coach and wide receiver coach. When Holmgren left Green Bay for the Seattle Seahawks in 1998, Haskell accepted the offensive coordinator position with the Carolina Panthers. In 2000, he reunited with Holmgren in Seattle in the same role. He has indicated that he would like to be a head coach in the NFL and even launched a low key campaign for the Oakland Raiders position when the Raiders fired Norv Turner after the 2005 season. That position was eventually filled with the hiring of Art Shell.

The 2010 season was the Seattle Seahawks' 35th in the National Football League (NFL), their ninth playing home games at Qwest Field and their first under head coach Pete Carroll after Jim Mora was fired on January 8, 2010. The team exceeded their win total from 2009 and won the NFC West with a 7–9 record, and made the playoffs for the first time since 2007. They became the first team in a full season to finish with a sub-.500 record and make the playoffs, a berth which was by virtue of winning the division. The 2010 Seahawks also became the first sub-.500 team to win a playoff game with their home win against the defending Super Bowl champion New Orleans Saints remembered as the Beast Quake game, but then had their season ended by the second-seeded Chicago Bears in the divisional round.

Jerry Schuplinski is an American football coach who is currently a senior offensive assistant with the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League. Most recently, he had been the tight ends coach for the Las Vegas Raiders. Prior to that, Jerry was an assistant coach for Case Western Reserve for six seasons before becoming a part of the Patriots' staff in 2013.
