Consumers Cigar Box Company, also known as Red Lion Woodcraft Inc., is a historic factory located at Red Lion, York County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1921, with additions in 1925 and 1935-1936. It is a large two-story, "L"-shaped building. It is built of concrete block and brick with a gable roof and stepped parapet. Cigar boxes were manufactured until the 1950s. The building housed various manufacturing operations until 1979. [2]

It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. It is located in the Red Lion Borough Historic District. [1]

F.M. Howell and Company is a late nineteenth-century manufacturing complex located on the banks of the Chemung River in Elmira, New York. F.M. Howell & Company was founded in 1883 in Elmira, New York by Fred M. Howell and John Aldrich. In its early years the company started out by producing wood and strawboard cigar and shoe boxes for other manufacturing companies. As this continued, they also added rigid paperboard boxes, and printing of box wraps and labels. Subsequently, this all led into the carton manufacturing, and plastic thermoforming for packaging. Later, on Howell got help from his cousin to help expand the company's horizons.

Columbia Wagon Works, also known as Colonial Wagon Company, is a historic wagon factory complex located at Columbia in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The complex was built between 1889 and 1920, and includes seven contributing buildings. They are rectangular brick factory buildings with heavy timber frame construction. Six of the buildings are arranged in an "H"-shape. The buildings range in height from one to 3 1/2-stories. The wagon company closed in 1926, after which the buildings housed a tobacco warehouse operated by the American Cigarette & Cigar Company and produce warehouses. Between 1994 and 1996, the complex was converted to house 60 apartments.

The district includes 787 contributing buildings and 1 contributing site in the central business district and surrounding residential areas of Manheim. Bare Tobacco Warehouse, and the A. B. Hess Cigar Factory. The buildings have been converted to residential use.

The building was damaged by fire in January 1990, and subsequently restored. It housed a cigar factory and later a toy manufacturer.

Slater Cigar Company is two historic cigar factory and tobacco warehouse buildings located at Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The building at 625 Columbia Avenue was built about 1895, and is a three-story, rectangular brick building with a high basement. It is 90 feet wide by 30 feet deep and has a flat roof. The building at 626–628 Columbia Avenue was built in 1905–1906, and is a four-story, rectangular brick building with a high basement. It is 45 feet wide by 140 feet deep. A one-story brick addition was built about 1923.

It includes 10 contributing buildings, built between about 1876 and about 1920. Six of the buildings were built about 1876 by John DeHaven. The remaining buildings are the C.G. Schubert Tobacco Warehouse ; Henry Martin Brick Machine Company ; and the General Cigar Company. All 10 buildings are brick buildings, 2 to ​4 12 stories tall, and 8 of the 10 were used for the processing and storage of cigar leaf tobacco. Some exhibit Colonial Revival style details.

It includes seven contributing buildings, built between about 1881 and about 1913. They are the Baumgardner Brothers Tobacco Warehouse ; Standard Caramel Company Factory (1906); S.R. Moss Cigar Company (1907); Otto Eisenlohr Tobacco Warehouse ; and the William Levy / Joseph Goldberg / Block Brothers Tobacco Warehouse. All seven buildings are brick buildings, two to five stories tall, and six of the seven were used for the processing and storage of cigar leaf tobacco.

Uneek Havana Cigar Company, also known as Sprecht Clothing Company, is a historic factory building located at Blooming Glen, Hilltown Township, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It was built between 1907 and 1910, and is a 2 1/2-story, rectangular brick building measuring 80 feet by 32 feet. It sits on a stucco covered stone foundation and has a low-pitched gable roof with broad overhangs reflective of the Arts and Crafts movement. It was built and occupied by a cigar manufacturer until 1919, after which it housed a clothing manufacturer into the 1950s. It then housed various light manufacturing activities until 2004.

Teller Cigar Factory United States historic place

Teller Cigar Factory, also known as Sprecht Clothing Company, is a historic factory building located at Sellersville, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. The original section was built about 1866, and expanded in 1895. The original section is a ​2 12-story, stone structure and the addition a ​2 12-story, brick structure. Both structures are plastered and have gable roofs. The building is 10 bays wide and 4 bays deep. It represents the transition of the cigar industry from home manufacture to being housed in large manufacturing facilities. It was occupied by a cigar manufacturer at least into the 1920s, and later used as a warehouse for a plumbing and heating supply company.
