David Rice (born 1 January 1989) is an English former tennis player. He is best known for his activity on the doubles circuit, where he usually played with Sean Thornley.
He qualified for the Wimbledon men's doubles for the first time in June 2011 with Sean Thornley. [2] They lost in the first round to Jamie Murray and Sergiy Stakhovsky, 3–6, 5–7. He has played in Wimbledon 3 times.
After failing to qualify in 2012, he and Thornley were awarded a wildcard for the 2013 championship, losing 4–6, 3–6, 7–6(7), 6–4, 4–6 to Marinko Matosevic and Frank Moser.

Timothy Henry Henman is a British former professional tennis player. Henman played a serve-and-volley style of tennis. He was the first British man to reach the singles semifinals of Wimbledon since Roger Taylor in the 1970s. Henman reached six major semifinals and won 15 career ATP Tour titles, including the 2003 Paris Masters. He also earned a 40–14 win-loss record with the Great Britain Davis Cup team.
Aleksa Bogdanovic is a retired Serbian-born English tennis player and former UK no 2. On the professional tour, he won 9 Challenger titles and 4 Futures events, but never managed to break into the top 100. He also competed in 22 Grand Slam qualification draws, only managing to qualify one time for the main draw. He received a wildcard into the Wimbledon main draw eight consecutive years, but lost in the first round every time.

Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi is a Pakistani professional tennis player who specialises in doubles. He is the only Pakistani player ever to reach a Grand Slam final, having done so in both men's and mixed doubles at the 2010 US Open, alongside Rohan Bopanna and Květa Peschke respectively. Matthew Ebden is an Australian professional tennis player who reached a career high of world No. 1 in doubles. Ebden is a three-time Grand Slam champion, having won the 2022 Wimbledon Championships and 2024 Australian Open in doubles with Max Purcell and Rohan Bopanna respectively, and the 2013 Australian Open in mixed doubles alongside Jarmila Gajdošová. Ebden won an Olympic gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics with John Peers.

Tennis in Scotland was introduced from France in the Middle Ages. During the 20th century it was a minor sport, but has obtained some prominence due to the successes of Andy Murray and other Scots.
