As of the census [5] of 2000, there were 48 people, 21 households, and 12 families residing in the village. The population density was 105.3 inhabitants per square mile (40.7/km2). There were 22 housing units at an average density of 48.3 per square mile (18.6/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 91.67% White, 2.08% African American, 6.25% from other races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 8.33% of the population.
There were 21 households, out of which 28.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.4% were married couples living together, 4.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 38.1% were non-families. 33.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 23.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.29 and the average family size was 2.92.
In the village, the population was spread out, with 22.9% under the age of 18, 6.3% from 18 to 24, 25.0% from 25 to 44, 22.9% from 45 to 64, and 22.9% who were 65 years of age or older.
