Deh Kohneh-ye Kamarej (Persian : ده كهنه كمارج‎, also Romanized as Deh Kohneh-ye Kamarej; also known as Deh Kohneh)^[1] is a village in Kamarej Rural District, Kamarej and Konartakhteh District, Kazerun County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 524, in 104 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Kazerun County is a county in Fars Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Kazerun. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 258,097, in 58,036 families. The county is subdivided into six districts: the Central District, Jereh and Baladeh District, Khesht District, Kamaraj and Konartakhteh District, Kuhmareh District, and Chenar Shahijan District. The county has six cities: Kazerun, Baladeh, Khesht, Konartakhteh, Nowdan, and Qaemiyeh.
