Sheykhi (Persian : شيخي‎, also Romanized as Sheykhī)^[1] is a village in Shapur Rural District, in the Central District of Kazerun County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 323, in 75 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script, which itself evolved from the Aramaic alphabet.

Shapur Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Kazerun County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 6,759, in 1,431 families. The rural district has 16 villages.

Kazerun County is a county in Fars Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Kazerun. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 258,097, in 58,036 families. The county is subdivided into six districts: the Central District, Jereh and Baladeh District, Khesht District, Kamaraj and Konartakhteh District, Kuhmareh District, and Chenar Shahijan District. The county has six cities: Kazerun, Baladeh, Khesht, Konartakhteh, Nowdan, and Qaemiyeh.
