Gorgdan (Persian : گرگدان‎, also Romanized as Gorgdān)^[1] is a village in Kuhmareh Rural District, Kuhmareh District, Kazerun County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 662, in 162 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Kuhmareh Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Kuhmareh District, Kazerun County, Fars Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 9,356, in 2,136 families. The rural district has 13 villages.
