The Global Biodiversity Information Facility lists: [2]
Pentatomidae is a family of insects belonging to the order Hemiptera, generally called shield bugs or stink bugs. Pentatomidae is the largest family in the superfamily Pentatomoidea, and contains around 900 genera and over 4700 species. As hemipterans, the pentatomids have piercing sucking mouthparts, and most are phytophagous, including several species which are severe pests on agricultural crops. However, some species, particularly in the subfamily Asopinae, are predatory and may be considered beneficial.
Phyllobius is a genus of weevils containing at least 60 described species, some of which are commonly found in Europe.
Platypleura is a genus of cicadas that occurs widely across Africa and southern Asia. Some of the South African species are remarkable for their endothermic thermoregulation that enables crepuscular signalling, an adaptation that reduces risk of predation and enables a greater range for their calls. In field experiments their maximum body temperature while calling at dusk, was measured at 22 °C above ambient temperature.
Dendrolimus is a genus of moths in the family Lasiocampidae. The genus was erected by Ernst Friedrich Germar in 1812.
Somatina is a genus of moths in the family Geometridae first described by Achille Guenée in 1858.
Rhysodes is a genus of ground beetle in the subfamily Rhysodinae native to the Palearctic and the Near East.
Achroia is a genus of small moths of the snout moth family (Pyralidae). It belongs to the tribe Galleriini of subfamily Galleriinae.
Chrysocoris is a genus of brightly colored shield-backed bugs belonging to the family Scutelleridae, erected by Carl Wilhelm Hahn in 1834. Species are recorded from South and SE Asia.
Lema is a genus of beetles in the family Chrysomelidae.
Eupteryx is a genus of leafhoppers in the family Cicadellidae.
Iassus is a genus of leafhoppers in the family Cicadellidae. There are more than 35 described species in Iassus, located primarily in Europe.
Kelisia is a genus of delphacid planthoppers in the family Delphacidae. There are more than 50 described species in Kelisia.
Epinotia caprana is a moth belonging to the family Tortricidae. The species was first described by Johan Christian Fabricius in 1798.
Scotinophara is a genus of shield bugs in the tribe Podopini and sometimes called "black bugs". Species have a widespread distribution in Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. At least three species: the common black bug, Malayan black bug, and the Japanese rice black bug are significant rice pests.
Delphacini is an important tribe of planthoppers with a world-wide distribution.
Cicadatra is a genus of European and Asian cicadas; it was erected by Kolenati in 1857 and is typical of the tribe Cicadatrini.
