The Denmark national rugby league team represents Denmark in the sport of rugby league.
Denmark participated in rugby league in the late 2008. The national team played their first match in 2009, [1] losing 28–26 to Norway in Copenhagen.[ citation needed ]
They first won in 2011 in the Nordic Cup (Between Denmark, Norway and Sweden). In 2014, they beat Sweden and Norway to become the first team to win the Nordic Cup twice. [2] They then became the first team to retain the Nordic Cup in 2015 after beating Sweden and Norway to win their third trophy. [3]

Since 2013, the Denmark rugby league team have promoted the Cystic Fibrosis Forening, the national cystic fibrosis association of Denmark. [9]
The Sweden men's national football team represents Sweden in men's international football and it is controlled by the Swedish Football Association, the governing body of football in Sweden. Sweden's home ground is Strawberry Arena in Solna and the team is coached by Jon Dahl Tomasson. From 1945 to the late 1950s, they were considered one of the greatest teams in Europe.
The Finland national football team represents Finland in men's international football competitions and is controlled by the Football Association of Finland, the governing body for football in Finland, which was founded in 1907. The team has been a member of FIFA since 1908 and a UEFA member since 1957.

Tobias Jan Håkan Linderoth is a Swedish professional football manager and former player, who is the current manager of Swedish club Varbergs BoIS. He played as a midfielder, and played professionally in Sweden, Norway, England, Denmark, and Turkey before injuries forced him to retire in 2010. A full international between 1999 and 2008, he won 76 caps for the Sweden national team and represented them at two FIFA World Cups and two UEFA European Championships.
Daniel Munthe Agger is a Danish professional football coach and former player who is the assistant manager of the Danish national football team. As a player, he played as a centre-back for Brøndby and Liverpool and captained the Denmark national team. Agger was described as "a fine reader of the game, comfortable on the ball and blessed with a ferocious shot". He was the 2007 and 2012 Danish Football Player of the Year.
The European Amateur Boxing Championships is the highest competition for boxing amateurs in Europe, organised by the continent's governing body EUBC, which stands for the European Boxing Confederation. The first edition of the tournament took place in 1924, although the first 'competitive' championships were hosted by the city of Stockholm (Sweden) in 1925.
Rugby league is a growing team sport in Norway. The sport is administered there by Rugby League Norge, which was set up in late 2008. Rugby League Norge works according to RLEF and NIF laws.
Sport in Denmark is diverse. The Nordic Cup is a rugby league tournament played annually between Denmark national rugby league team, Norway and Sweden. It was first played in 2011, in which Denmark claimed the trophy with victory over Norway at Gladsaxe Stadium in Greater Copenhagen. For the first three years, the tournament was acknowledged by the Rugby League European Federation (RLEF), but the games were not recognised as full internationals. In 2014, the fixtures were played in accordance with RLEF regulations and recognised as full internationals.
The 2017 international rugby league season started when Hungary played Uruguay in the Western Sydney suburb of Liverpool. The season will also include the 2017 Rugby League World Cup which will be held in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea during October, November and December.
