Moon has said she does not believe Joe Biden was legitimately elected president of the United States. Days after her election as party chair in July 2022, the party was scheduled to consider a resolution declaring as such. [14] [31]

Personal life

Moon's husband is Darr, a licensed civil engineer and land surveyor involved in Gold mining, who serves on the national council of the John Birch Society. [7] [32] They have two children. [6] They live near Stanley. [7]

Idaho is one of 17 states that elect their lieutenant governor separately in both the primary and general elections.

Philip McGrane is an American politician from Idaho who is serving as the Secretary of State of Idaho. He previously served as the county clerk for Ada County, Idaho. He is a member of the Republican Party. As a candidate for secretary of state, McGrane stated that Joe Biden was the rightful winner of the 2020 United States presidential election, unlike his two main opponents in the primary.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2024 Idaho Open Primary initiative</span>

The Idaho Open Primary measure is a ballot initiative in the state of Idaho that will be voted on November 5, 2024, as part of the 2024 United States elections. On July 10, it was certified for the ballot. If enacted, the initiative would end Idaho's system of closed primaries, replacing it with a top-four primary, and implement a ranked-choice voting system for the general election to replace the current plurality voting system. This would apply to congressional, gubernatorial, and state and county elected offices. Top-four primaries with ranked-choice general elections are currently in use in Alaska.
