Douglas is a town in Worcester County Massachusetts. The population was 8,471 at the 2010 census. It includes the sizable Douglas State Forest, managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR).
The Hancock–Clarke House is a historic house at 36 Hancock Street in Lexington, Massachusetts, that is a National Historic Landmark. Built in 1738, the house is notable as the only surviving house associated with statesman John Hancock, who lived here for several years as a child. It played a prominent role in the Battle of Lexington and Concord as both Hancock and Samuel Adams, leaders of the colonials, were staying in the house before the battle. The House is operated as a museum by the Lexington Historical Society. It is open weekends starting in mid-April and daily from May 30–October 31. An admission fee is charged.
The General George Crook House Museum is located at 5730 North 30th Street in Fort Omaha. The Fort is located in the Miller Park neighborhood of North Omaha, Nebraska, United States. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1969, and is a contributing property to the Fort Omaha Historic District.
The South Omaha Main Street Historic District is located along South 24th Street between M and O Streets in South Omaha, Nebraska. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. Home to dozens of historically important buildings, including the Packer's National Bank Building, the historic district includes 129 acres (0.52 km2) and more than 32 buildings.
The Main Street Historic District in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, United States, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. The district is composed of 51 buildings on or within a block of Main Street.
The Whipple–Jenckes House is an historic American Colonial house at the corner of Diamond Hill Road and Fairhaven Road in Cumberland, Rhode Island. The house was built around the year 1750, enlarged slightly in 1780, and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.

The Fitchburg Historical Society is a historical society whose mission is to collect, preserve, and present the history of Fitchburg, Massachusetts. The society was founded in 1892, and is now headquartered in the historic Phoenix Building at 781 Main Street. The society's original 1912 headquarters building, designed by architect H. M. Francis, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003. The society operates three days a week and is open from 10am to 4pm Mondays and Tuesdays with a longer day on Wednesday from 10am to 6pm. They offer genealogical research, a library of local history, and numerous volunteer opportunities.
The Capt. John Wilson House and Bates Ship Chandlery are historic buildings at 4 Elm Street in Cohasset, Massachusetts. They are now owned by the Cohasset Historical Society. Open in the summer, the Captain John Wilson House is now a historic house museum, and the Chandlery houses displays about the town's maritime heritage. They were added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
The Ephraim Weston House is a historic house at 229 West Street in Reading, Massachusetts. It is incorrectly listed on the National Register of Historic Places as the Ephrain Weston House, at 224 West Street. It was built in the early years of the 19th century by Ephraim Weston, a local real estate developer and businessman; he operated a local general store and a shoe manufacturing business, one of the early such businesses in the town. It is a two-story wood frame structure, with a hip roof and two chimneys. The main facade faces south, and has a single-story porch extending across its width, supported by square posts. The building corners are pilastered, and a single-story bay projects from the west side. The house is locally distinctive as a rare Federal period house with a hip roof and later applied Italianate styling.
The West Ward School is a historic school at 39 Prospect Street in Wakefield, Massachusetts. Built in 1847, it is the only surviving Greek Revival schoolhouse in the town. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. It is now maintained by the local historical society as a museum property.
The Main Street Historic District in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin is a 2.5-acre (1.0 ha) historic district that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on January 11, 2002. The listing was amended in some way in a revised listing on March 5, 2002. In 2002, there were 20 buildings in the district that were deemed to contribute to its historic character.
Blackman–Bosworth Store, also known as Bosworth Store Building, S.N. Bosworth's Cheap Cash Store, David Blackman's Store, and Randolph County Museum, is a historic general store located at Beverly, Randolph County, West Virginia, United States. It consists of the original section, built about 1828, with an addition built in 1894. The original section is a two-story brick building on a cut-stone foundation. In addition to being operated as a general store into the 1920s, the building had short-term use as county courthouse, post office and semi-official meeting place. In 1973, the Randolph County Historical Society purchased the property, and it now serves as the Randolph County Museum and as a meeting place.
The Watrous General Store, also known as the Juniata Township Hall, is a former commercial structure located at 4607 W. Caro Road in Watrousville, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. It currently houses the Watrousville Museum.
The Jenckes Spinning Company is a historic textile factory complex in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Located on Conant and Weeden Streets, the complex was developed between 1883 and 1919, and was home to the city's largest employer in the 1910s, producing cotton fabric and fabric for use in automotive tires until 1933. The factory complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018.
