East Gorham is a local services board for the unincorporated geographic townships of Gorham [3] [4] and Jacques [5] [6] in Thunder Bay District, Ontario, Canada. [7]

The area is counted as part of Unorganized Thunder Bay District in Statistics Canada census data.

The elections for the board for the period October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020, held on September 19, 2020, had the result of Murray Cook as chair and Vicki Kutzak, Patricia Williams, Ted Post and Shelley Tuomi as board members.[ needs update ] [8]

The community of Lappe is at the southern border of the board's jurisdiction at the junction of Ontario Highway 589 and Ontario Highway 591. Ontario Highway 589 continues north through Gorham and Jacques townships and then further on its way to its northern terminus at Dog Lake.

It has a passing track. Meglund also lies, in an even narrower bracket, between the Black River to the west and the tributary Melgund Creek to the east. Ontario Highway 17 passes 500 metres (1,640 ft) to the north, and the incorporated town of Marathon is 14 kilometres (8.7 mi) in a straight line to the west.

Foxear Creek

Foxear Creek is a stream in the municipality of Greenstone, Thunder Bay District in northwestern Ontario, Canada. It is in the Great Lakes Basin and is a left tributary of the Namewaminikan River. The river lies in the geographic townships of Sandra, Irwin and Walters.
