Salah Asfar Shishtawai J. Dessouki was an Egyptian fencer. He won bronze medals in three fencing disciplines across four editions of the World Championships and competed at the 1948 and 1952 Summer Olympics. By career he was a government official and served in several capacities, including as Governor of Cairo.

Zamalek Volleyball Club commonly known as Zamalek V.C, or simply as Zamalek SC, is a professional volleyball team based in Giza, Egypt. founded in 1952. They compete in the Egyptian League.

Al Ahly Hockey , was one of Al Ahly SC club's sections that represented the club in Egypt, Field hockey is one of the oldest sports to play in Egypt. There were unofficial competitions that were played at the inception of the last century by the English military teams while Egypt was under occupancy by the UK. Al Ahly as usual took the lead by 30's to be the first 100% Egyptian club to introduce this sport to his members and followers. This was at the time while there were another 20 sports are played within the club premises. Al Ahly was the best team in this sport in Egypt in 40's and 50's of the last century. The club clinched most of the local competitions. But unfortunately, later, by end of 60's, the club took a decision to dis-solve this sport activity to reduce the costs as the club experienced severe financial problems after 1967 war, and the bad management as well by the club president at that time: Salah Al Dessouki.

Back Again is a 1957 Egyptian film directed by Ezz El-Dine Zulficar and written by Yusuf Sibai and Ezz El-Dine Zulficar. It stars Shoukry Sarhan, Mariam Fakhr eddine, Salah Zulfikar, Hussein Riad and Hind Rostom. The film is listed in the Top 100 Egyptian films of the 20th century.

Road to Eilat is a 1994 Egyptian war film directed by Inaam Mohammed Ali and features Salah Zulfikar in a special appearance as Admiral Fouad Abu Zikry, the commander of Egyptian Navy. The film stars Ezzat El Alaili and Nabil Al-Halfawi. The film is Salah Zulfikar’s final film role.

The Holy Man is an Egyptian film released in 1959. The film is based on Molière's play Tartuffe.

Virgo is a 1970 Egyptian film directed by Mahmoud Zulfikar. It stars Salah Zulfikar, Nahed Sherif and Adel Emam.
