Enfield and Haringey Athletic Club is an athletics club based in North London. The club has tracks in two locations; Lee Valley Athletics Centre and New River Stadium.

History

Enfield and Haringey AC was formed in 1999 with the merger of Borough of Enfield Harriers (BoEH) and Haringey AC. BoEH was created in 1965 by the amalgamation of Enfield AC, founded 1920, and Ponders End AC (1922). Haringey AC was originally Southgate Harriers, a club formed in 1932 by a breakaway group from the Southgate & Wood Green Sports Association. In 1974, Southgate AC moved its HQ from Broomfield Park to White Hart Lane Community Sports Centre and adopted the title Haringey & Southgate AC which was later shortened to Haringey AC. [1]

Honours

Senior Men:

Most recently, National Young Athletes League Final, September 2006. In doing so, stopping the three year strangle hold on the title by Blackheath and Bromley Harriers.

Peter Elliott is a former middle-distance runner from the United Kingdom. During his career, he won the gold medal in the 1500 metres at the 1990 Commonwealth Games, the silver medal in the 1500 metres at the 1988 Olympic Games, and the silver medal in the 800 metres at the 1987 World Championships.

Cardiff Amateur Athletic Club, formed in 1882 as Roath (Cardiff) Harriers, is an athletics club based at the Cardiff International Sports Stadium, Cardiff. The club began as a cross country club, the first athletics only club in Wales. Roath Harriers runners became individual and team champions of the first Welsh Cross Country Championships, held on 7 March 1894. Roath Harriers shared Maindy Stadium with Birchgrove Harriers from its opening in 1951 and the two clubs amalgamated to form Cardiff Amateur Athletic Club in 1968. Nicholas Miller is a British track and field athlete who specialises in the hammer throw. Naomi Metzger (née Ogbeta) is a British track and field athlete who competes in the triple jump. She holds a personal best of 14.37 m and is a ten-time British champion. She represented Great Britain in the triple jump at the 2018 and 2022 European Athletics Championships, the 2019 European Athletics Indoor Championships and the 2022 World Athletics Championships. She also represented England in the triple jump at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, winning a Bronze medal in a new personal best of 14.37m.
