The European Badminton Circuit is a series of international badminton tournaments in Europe, sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF). The circuit consists of BWF International Challenge, BWF International Series and BWF Future Series tournaments held in Europe. [1] The circuit usually starts in September and ends in April. [2]
BWF International Challenge tournaments offers more than $20,000 prize money, while BWF International Series tournaments offers more than $8,000 prize money. BWF Future Series tournaments offers up to $8,000 of prize money. The distribution of prize mone differs on each tournament type. BWF International Challenge tournaments rewards prize money for semifinalist for singles and only both finalist for doubles. BWF International Series tournaments offers prize money for finalist for singles and the doubles champion. BWF Future Series tournaments only distribute prize money to champions of singles and doubles. [1]

Zhou Mi is a Chinese badminton player. During much of her career she represented the People's Republic of China, but since 2007 she has represented Hong Kong which has a sports program and teams independent from those of the mainland. In 2010, she received a 2-year ban, for failing a drugs test.
Theratil Rajiv Ouseph is a former badminton player from England who represented both England and Great Britain in the international tournaments. Ouseph was the European Champion, winning in 2017.
Nadieżda Zięba is a Polish retired badminton player of Belarusian origin. She won the mixed doubles gold medal at the 2012 European Championships. Zięba was three times mixed doubles quarter finalists in the badminton at the Summer Olympics.
Viktor Axelsen is a Danish badminton player. He is the 2017 World champion and the 2020 Olympic champion. He won the 2010 World Junior Championships, beating South Korea's Kang Ji-wook in the final to become the first ever European player to hold the title. Axelsen was crowned European men's singles champion in 2016 and 2018.
Kirsty Gilmour is a Scottish badminton player, who represented both Scotland and Great Britain in the international tournament.

Line Højmark Kjærsfeldt is a Danish badminton player specializing in singles. She won a bronze medal at the 2010 BWF World Junior Championships in the women's doubles with Sandra-Maria Jensen. Kjærsfeldt also won a gold medal in 2015 European Games.

B. R. Sankeerth is a Canadian badminton player of Indian origin. Sankeerth started playing badminton when he was young in Karnataka, India. He had shown his potential as a badminton player by finishing as a runner-up at the U-13 SBM State-ranking junior badminton championship. He clinched two titles at the 2011 Indiranagar 5-Star State-ranking badminton tournament, and was selected to represent India at the 2014 World Junior Championships.

Kunlavut Vitidsarn is a Thai badminton player. He was three-times World Junior champion, winning in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Vitidsarn became the first men's singles player to win three World Junior Championships title, joining Ratchanok Intanon and Chen Qingchen as a three-time winner of the World Junior title in the same discipline. He claimed the gold medal at the Asian Junior Championships in 2019, where he previously won a silver in 2018 and bronze in 2017. Vitidsarn participated at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics, and was part of the team Omega took the silver medal in the mixed team event. He was named the 2020/2021 Eddy Choong Most Promising Player.
The BWF World Tour is a Grade 2 badminton tournament series, sanctioned by Badminton World Federation (BWF). It is a competition open to the top world ranked players in singles and doubles. The competition was announced on 19 March 2017 and came into effect starting from 2018, replacing the BWF Super Series, which was held from 2007 to 2017.
The 2018 BWF World Tour, known as 2018 HSBC BWF World Tour for sponsorship reasons, was the first season of the BWF World Tour of badminton, a circuit of 26 tournaments which led up to the World Tour Finals tournament. He was the boys' doubles European U15 and U17 Junior Champions, also won the boys' singles silver medals at the 2018 European and 2019 World Junior Championships. He reached a career high as boys' singles World Junior number 1 in January 2020. He then clinched the boys' singles title at the 2020 European Junior Championships.
