Exiteloceras is an ammonite genus from the Late Cretaceous. [1]
Exiteloceras was proposed by Alpheus Hyatt in 1894 for heteromorph ammonites with shells that are loosely coiled in a plane, early whorls varying from straight limbs connected by semicircular elbows to elliptical or nearly circular loops, later whorls being elliptical to circular. The whorl section is ovate with the dorsum on the inside curve broader than the venter on the outside. The ribs may be straight or flexuous and mostly slant. Most end with a tubule on the ventrolateral shoulder. The suture is ammonitic. The deeply incised sutural elements are asymmetric, including the double-pronged ventral lobe.

Ammonoids are a group of extinct marine mollusc animals in the subclass Ammonoidea of the class Cephalopoda. These molluscs, commonly referred to as ammonites, are more closely related to living coleoids than they are to shelled nautiloids such as the living Nautilus species. The earliest ammonites appeared during the Devonian, and the last species either vanished in the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event, or shortly after during the Danian epoch of the Paleocene.
Baculites is an extinct genus of cephalopods with a nearly straight shell, included in the heteromorph ammonites. The genus, which lived worldwide throughout most of the Late Cretaceous, and which briefly survived the K-Pg mass extinction event, was named by Lamarck in 1799.
Acanthohoplites is an extinct genus of ammonites in the family Parahoplitidae that lived in the Aptian and Early Albian stages of the Early Cretaceous.
Anahoplites is a genus of rather involute, compressed hoplitid ammonites with flat sides, narrow flat or grooved venters, and flexious ribs or striae arising from weak umbilicle tubercles that end in fine dense ventrolateral nodes. The elements of their sutures are short, wide and jaggedy. Specimens of Annahoplites have diameters typically in the range of 4–6 centimetres (1.6–2.4 in) although some with diameters of as much as 19 centimetres (7.5 in) have been reported. The genus lived during the Cretaceous, from the Middle to the late Albian.
Axonoceras is a genus in the ammonitid family Nostoceratidae proposed by Stephenson in 1941, for "slender shells coiled in a plane with numerous closely spaced ribs and two rows of ventral nodes'...The shells may be closely coiled, though not involute, but most... are more or less loosely and irregularly coiled". Shells may be coplanar or coiled in a low flat spiral with the early whorls in contact, later whorls free.
Astiericeras is an ammonite from the Lower Cretaceous, the shell of which is evolute, stout; outer whorl with strong, well spaced, transverse ribs that cross smoothly over the broad venter; early whorls with lateral tubercles. The outer, mature whorl separates from the coil but hooks back quickly, referred to as a heteromorph.
Astreptoceras is an extinct upper Cretaceous ammonoid cephalopod named by Henderson in 1970. Fossils belonging to this genera have been found in Antarctica and New Zealand.

Didymoceras nebrascense was an extinct species of heteromorph ammonite from the upper Campanian age. It was sexually dimorphic, with two adult sizes averaging at 270 mm (11 in) and 180 mm (7.1 in) high for females and males respectively. It exhibited three distinct growth stages. The first growth stage was composed of one or two straight sharply bending sections and a gently curved third. The second growth stage is composed of around three and a half loosely coiling whorls. The last (adult) growth stage is composed of a U-shaped bend facing upwards.
Calycoceras is an extinct genus of cephalopods belonging to the subclass Ammonoidea and family Acanthoceratidae that lived during the Cenomanian stage of the Late Cretaceous, 100-94 Mya. Their shells had ornate ribs.

Puzosia is a genus of desmoceratid ammonites, and the type genus for the Puzosiinae, which lived during the middle part of the Cretaceous, from early Aptian to Maastrichtian. Sepkoski defines the range from Albian to Santonian. The generic name comes from the Serbian words "Puž" (snail) and "oce/ose" (axis), gaining its name from the shell's snail-like appearance.
Holcodiscus is an ammonite genus placed in the family Holcodiscidae. Species in this genus were fast-moving nektonic carnivores. The type species of the genus is Ammonites caillaudianus.
