The World Squash Federation (WSF) is the international federation for squash, an indoor racket sport which was formerly called "squash rackets". The WSF is recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the International Federation (IF) for squash, and is also a member of the Global Association of International Sports Federations and the Association of the IOC Recognised International Sports Federations (ARISF).

Nour El Sherbini is an Egyptian professional squash player. She is a seven time World champion and became the youngest woman to win the Women's World Championship (2015). In 2016, she retained her title and in 2019 won her third World Championship equalling the feat of Michelle Martin and rising to equal fourth in the all-time list of world championships won. She is the current world champion after winning the 2022/2023 edition of the tournament.

Previously called The United States Squash Racquets Association, it is headquartered in New York City and is a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee. US Squash owns and licenses the U.S. Open, the North American Open, and all other U.S. championships.
The World Squash Doubles Championship was held in North America from 1981 until 1987 when it was sanctioned by the International Squash Racquets Federation. It was then held bi-ennially from 1994 as the World Hardball Doubles. There has also been a separate World Softball Doubles held under WSF rules, which require double pairs to be made up of two players from the same country. The WSF event has been held since 1997.

The event were held in Paderborn, Germany and took place from August 21 to August 27, 2011. The tournament was organized by the World Squash Federation and the German Squash Association. The Egypt team won his third World Team Championships beating the English team in the final.
The 2013 Men's World Team Squash Championships is the men's edition of the 2013 World Team Squash Championships, which serves as the world team championship for squash players. The event was held in Mulhouse, France, from June 9 to June 15, 2013. The tournament is organized by the World Squash Federation and the French Squash Federation. The England team won its fifth World Team Championships beating the Egyptian team in the final.
The 2015 Men's World Team Squash Championships is the men's edition of the 2015 World Team Squash Championships, which serves as the world team championship for squash players. Courtesy of the World Squash Federation and Egyptian Squash Association, the event was scheduled to take place in Cairo, Egypt from December 12 to December 18, 2015; with short notice, it was postponed in the wake of several team withdrawals arising from security concerns and a bomb attack in the Egyptian capital that resulted in 16 fatalities.

To date, his highest ranking has been number 132 in the world. He has reached the final rounds of many professional tournaments. He is in Finland men's national squash team and has represented his country internationally.
Hania El Hammamy is an Egyptian professional squash player. She became a top seed in women's junior squash rankings at the age of 16. As of January 2022, she is ranked number 3 in the world.

The event held in Dalian, China took place from 11 to 19 September 2018. The tournament was organized by the World Squash Federation and the Chinese Squash Association. The Egypt team won its fourth World Team Championships, beating the England team in the final.
