Frank D. Yuengling Mansion is a historic home located in Pottsville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1913, and is a large three-story dwelling in the Tudor-Jacobean style. It is constructed of brick, stucco, and half-timbering and contains 20-plus rooms. It features side and rear porches, a front portico, stone facing, and many gables, overhanging balconies, and brick chimneys. Also located on the property are a contributing Jacobean style garage, formal garden with decorative statuary and sundial, and sunken garden with gazebo. The house was the first house to have a telephone and electricity in at Pottsville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. It was built by Frank D. Yuengling of the Yuengling brewery, grandson of David Yuengling. The house is used as a cultural center and education facility, managed by the Schuylkill County Council For The Arts. [2]

A rear addition was built about 1835, connecting the main house to a formerly separate summer kitchen. The main house measures 27 feet by 40 feet. It features a Queen Anne style porch added before 1900.
"Cloud Home" is a historic home located at Pottsville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. It is a 2+1⁄2-story fieldstone dwelling in the Greek Revival style. It features a pedimented portico supported by four Corinthian order columns. Surrounding the home are seven acres of landscaped grounds. Located on the property are a contributing large stone barn, stone smokehouse with matching necessary, and an octagonal stone building with subterranean vault. This building was used as John Bannans legal office.

Ormiston Mansion is a 2+1⁄2-story, red brick, late Georgian period house located in east Fairmount Park, Philadelphia. The house was constructed in 1798 with a large wooden porch in front and a smaller porch in the rear. Many of the original interior features remain including fireplaces with marble mantles and a Scottish bake oven. The cedar shake roof includes a widow's walk and Federal-style dormers, while six large shuttered windows are on each side of the house, and five on the front. The first floor interior includes a large drawing room spanning the entire width of the house, a kitchen, and a dining room with a large door leading to the rear porch. The back of the house overlooks the Schuylkill River.
Christian Ley was an American politician who served as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, serving in the 24th Pennsylvania General Assembly from 1799 to 1802. He subsequently filled the vacant Pennsylvania Senate seat of John Kean, holding that position from 1805 to 1806.
