Attack on Memory is the second studio album by American indie rock band Cloud Nothings, released on January 24, 2012, by Carpark Records. Produced by Steve Albini at his Electrical Audio studio in Chicago, the recording sessions saw frontman Dylan Baldi's live band contributing as full-time members and co-writers. Attack on Memory features a heavier sound and darker songs, a sharp turn from the power pop of previous Cloud Nothings releases.

She signed a recording contract with Asylum Records in 2010, releasing a series of singles and mixtapes throughout 2011 and 2012. She later featured on "I Love It" with Swedish duo Icona Pop, with the song becoming her first number-one in the UK and receiving global success. Her debut studio album, True Romance (2013), was released to positive reviews but failed to meet commercial expectations.

Work on the record began in 2012 and continued through 2013. As an executive producer, Drake enlisted collaborators such as 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Majid Jordan, Jay-Z, Jhené Aiko and Sampha for guest appearances on the album. They released their third album A Muse in Her Feelings (2020) and followed that up with the collaborative album Cheers to the Best Memories (2021) with Ty Dolla Sign. The duo's fourth studio album, Working on My Karma, was released on October 22, 2022.
