Humboldt City is a former settlement in Humboldt County, California. [1] It was located on Humboldt Bay just south of the later site of Bucksport. [1] The townsite was laid out in 1850 but was nearly deserted by 1851. [1]

The leveled hill is now the site of several large structures remaining from previous lumber operations, a District 1 CalTrans yard, and a KOA campground.
