The Iowa Senate is the upper house of the Iowa General Assembly, United States. There are 50 seats in the Iowa Senate, representing 50 single-member districts across the state of Iowa with populations of approximately 60,927 per constituency, as of the 2010 United States census. Each Senate district is composed of two House districts. The Senate meets at the Iowa State Capitol in Des Moines.
Randall Lee Feenstra is an American politician and businessman serving as the U.S. representative for Iowa's 4th congressional district. The district covers the western border of the state, including Sioux City and Council Bluffs, but stretches as far east as Story County, Franklin County, and Marshall County, including Ames.
Mark Costello is the Iowa State Senator from the 8th District. A Republican, he has served in the Iowa Senate since being elected in 2014. He had also previously served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2013–2014.
Ken Rozenboom is the Iowa State Senator from the 19th District. A Republican, he has served in the Iowa Senate since being elected in 2013. Born and raised in Oskaloosa, Iowa Rozenboom graduated Pella Christian High School before attending Calvin College in Michigan. After college, he returned home to work on the family farm along with also working as a sales production manager. He stepped into politics when he became Mahaska County Supervisor in 2010, going on to serve two years until 2012. He currently resides in Oskaloosa with his wife Becky. They have two children and four grandchildren.
The 28th District of the Iowa Senate is located in northern Iowa, and is currently composed of Hancock, Humboldt, Wright, Franklin, and Hamilton Counties, as well as part of Story County.

The 26th District of the Iowa Senate is located in central Iowa, and is currently composed of Marshall County and part of Story County following redistricting in 2021.
The 27th District of the Iowa Senate is located in central east Iowa, and is currently composed of Hardin, Grundy, and Poweshiek Counties, as well as part of Tama and Black Hawk Counties.

The 2022 United States House of Representatives elections in Iowa were held on November 8, 2022, to elect the four U.S. representatives from the State of Iowa, one from each of the state's four congressional districts. The elections coincided with the other elections to the House of Representatives, elections to the United States Senate and various state and local elections. These were the first congressional elections held in Iowa after the 2020 redistricting cycle.
