The Ireland cricket team toured Zimbabwe in December 2023 to play three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. [1] [2] [3] The T20I series formed part of Ireland's preparation for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament. [4]

The first T20I was the first international match to be played under flood lights in Zimbabwe. [5] [6] Ireland won the T20I series 2–1 to seal their first away T20I series win against a Full Member team. [7]

Ireland won the ODI series by 2–0, after first match was washed out by rain. [8] It was Ireland's first men's ODI series victory in Zimbabwe. [9] [10]

The Afghanistan cricket team toured the United Arab Emirates to play Zimbabwe from 25 December 2015 to 10 January 2016. The tour consisted of five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and two Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) matches. All the matches took place at the Sharjah Cricket Association Stadium.

Tinashe Kamunhukamwe is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He made his international debut for the Zimabwbwe cricket team in July 2018.

The Ireland cricket team toured India in February and March 2019 to play three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and a Test match against the Afghanistan cricket team. It was Ireland's first Test played overseas and the first Test match between the two sides. All of the fixtures took place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun. The ODI fixtures were part of Afghanistan's preparation for the 2019 Cricket World Cup. In January 2019, the fixtures were brought forward by two days, to avoid clashing with the Indian Premier League.

The Zimbabwe cricket team toured Ireland in June and July 2019 to play three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. All the matches were played at the Stormont Cricket Ground in Belfast and the Bready Cricket Club Ground in Magheramason. Zimbabwe last toured Ireland in 2003.

The South Africa cricket team toured Ireland in July 2021 to play three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The ODI series formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. Cricket Ireland confirmed the fixtures in February 2021. Originally, the first and the third T20I matches were scheduled take place on 20 and 25 July respectively. However, in June 2021, Cricket Ireland made a minor change to the tour itinerary by moving both of those matches forward by one day. It was South Africa's first full limited overs tour of Ireland, after previously playing one ODI in Belfast in June 2007. The opening T20I fixture was the first time the two teams had played each other in that format.

The ODI series formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. Cricket Ireland confirmed the fixtures in February 2021. Originally, three T20I matches were scheduled to be played, but two more T20I matches were added in April 2021, after planned matches against Pakistan were cancelled.

The Bangladesh cricket team toured Zimbabwe in July and August 2022 to play three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The original tour schedule was for two Test matches and three ODIs, but the Test matches were replaced by the T20I fixtures. All the matches took place at the Harare Sports Club. Prior to the series, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) named Nurul Hasan as their T20I captain for the tour, after Mahmudullah lacked performance and results. However, Nurul suffered a finger injury during the second T20I match and was ruled out of the rest of the tour. The BCB named Mosaddek Hossain as the team's captain for the third T20I match.

The Afghanistan cricket team toured Ireland in August 2022 to play five Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. Initially, the tour included a one-off Test match, but this was dropped from the fixtures when Cricket Ireland announced the schedule in March 2022. Cricket Ireland confirmed the dates and venues for the tour later the same month. The matches were used by both teams as preparation for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

The Ireland men's cricket team toured Bangladesh in March and April 2023 to play one Test, three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches.

The Ireland women's cricket team toured the West Indies in June and July 2023 to play three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The ODI series formed part of the 2022–2025 ICC Women's Championship. In March 2023, Cricket Ireland (CI) announced their summer schedule, including the dates of this tour. The Zimbabwe cricket team toured Sri Lanka in January 2024 to play three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The T20I series was part of Sri Lanka's preparation for the 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup tournament.

The tour consisted of three One Day International (ODI) and five Twenty20 International (T20I) matches.
