Datuk Seri Panglima Hajah Azizah binti Mohd Dun is a Malaysian politician who served as Chairperson of the Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) from May 2020 to December 2022 and of the Special Select Committee on Fundamental Liberty and Constitutional Rights from November 2021 to November 2022,Deputy Chairperson of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) from August 2020 to October 2022,the Deputy Minister of Women,Family and Community Development and Deputy Minister of Housing and Local Government in the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime Ministers Najib Razak and Abdullah Ahmad Badawi as well as former Ministers Rohani Abdul Karim and Ong Ka Ting from May 2013 to May 2018 and from March 2004 to March 2008 respectively. She also served as the State Minister of Community Development and Consumer Affairs of Sabah in the BN state administration under former Chief Minister Musa Aman from 2008 to 2013. In addition,she served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Beaufort from March 2004 to March 2008 and again from May 2013 to November 2022,Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Klias from March 2008 to May 2013 as well as a Senator from 2000 to 2004. She is a member of the Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (GAGASAN),a component party of the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS),was a member of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party (BERSATU),a component party of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) as well as formerly Pakatan Harapan (PH) opposition coalitions and was a member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO),a component party of the BN coalition. She left UMNO to be an independent in 2018 and later joined BERSATU in 2019 until 2022,and become official member of GAGASAN in 2023 after she left BERSATU in December 2022. She was officially appointed as Women Chief of GRS since 2023 after the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of GRS in March 2023.

In 2023,he officially became the member of Sabah People's Ideas Party,the main component party of Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) along with 7 other parties.

The 2020–2022 Malaysian political crisis was triggered after several Members of Parliament (MPs) of the 14th Malaysian Parliament changed party support,leading to the loss of a parliamentary majority,the collapse of two successive coalition governments,and the resignation of two Prime Ministers. The political crisis culminated in a 2022 snap general election and eventual formation of a coalition government. Masidi bin Manjun is a Malaysian politician,lawyer and public administrator who has served as the State Minister of Finance of Sabah since January 2023 and State Minister of Local Government and Housing of Sabah from September 2020 to January 2023 in the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) state administration under Chief Minister Hajiji Noor and Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Karanaan since March 2004. He was the state COVID-19 spokesman and coordinating minister of the GRS state government of Sabah. During the COVID-19 pandemic,he spoke frequently on the response of Sabah towards the pandemic. On 13 January 2023,Joachim Gunsalam took over the duties from him. He is a member of Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (GAGASAN),a component party of the GRS coalition. He has served as the Deputy President of GAGASAN since February 2023. He also served as the State Deputy Chairman of the Malaysian United Indigenous Party of Sabah from April 2019 to his resignation from the party in December 2022 and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) from August 2020 to January 2021.
Mohammad bin Mohamarin is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Banggi since May 2018. He served as the State Assistant Minister of Education and Innovation of Sabah in the Heritage Party (WARISAN) state administration under former Chief Minister Shafie Apdal and former State Minister Yusof Yacob from May 2018 to the collapse of WARISAN state administration in September 2020. He is a member of the Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (GAGASAN),a component party of the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) coalition. He was member of WARISAN and United Malays National Organisation of Sabah,a branch of a component party of the Barisan Nasional (BN) coalition. He is currently the Divisional Chairman of N01 Banggi Branch of GAGASAN.
Wetrom bin Bahanda is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kota Marudu since November 2022 and Member of the Sabah State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Bandau since September 2020. He served as the State Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister of Sabah in the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) state administration under Chief Minister Hajiji Noor from October 2020 to his resignation in October 2022. The Anwar Ibrahim cabinet is the current federal cabinet of Malaysia,formed on 3 December 2022,nine days after Anwar Ibrahim took office as the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia. The composition of the cabinet was announced by Anwar a day earlier on 2 December 2022,consisting of most of the political coalitions and parties represented in the 15th Parliament. It was the 23rd cabinet of Malaysia formed since independence. United Malays National Organisation of Sabah,also abbreviated as Sabah UMNO,is a branch of the United Malays National Organisation in Sabah,Malaysia. Sabah UMNO supported and was part of the federal government under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. Sabah UMNO also had one elected representatives holding a deputy ministerial positions respectively in the Anwar Ibrahim cabinet. This branch of UMNO was an independently-built branch in 2018 until 2021,the branch merged back to BN Central Leadership after suffering a split between Ketua Wanita UMNO cawangan Kota Kinabalu and the rebel group between Pemuda UMNO Tuaran and Sipitang.
