Lobor is a village and municipality in the Northern Croatia. In 2011 census, there were 3,188 inhabitants in the area, 98.96% of which were Croats. During the first year of the World War II Ustaše established a concentration camp in Lobor, also known as Loborgrad concentration camp, for Jewish and Serb women and children. At least 200 of them died in it.

Craig Breen was an Irish rally driver who last competed part time for the Hyundai team in the World Rally Championship (WRC). He won the 2012 Super 2000 WRC, scoring class wins in the Monte Carlo Rally, Wales Rally GB, Rally France and the Rally of Spain. Breen won the WRC Academy Cup in 2011, winning his first event at the 2011 Rallye Deutschland and sealing the championship with a win at Wales Rally GB. The Academy title going down to the last stage, with Breen and Estonian rally driver Egon Kaur ending the season, both on 111 points, Breen then won the title on count back of stage wins, 39 to 14. Breen won the 2021 Rentokil Historic Rally in Killarney, Kerry, Ireland in his BMW M3 E30.

The 2018 Rally Sweden was a motor racing event for rally cars that was held over four days between 15 and 18 February 2018. It marked the sixty-sixth running of Rally Sweden, and was the second round of the 2018 World Rally Championship and its support categories, the WRC-2 and WRC-3 championships. The event, which was based in the town of Torsby in Värmland County, was contested over nineteen special stages totalling a competitive distance of 314.25 km (195.27 mi).

The 2023 event was based in Zagreb in Central Croatia and was contested over twenty special stages, covering a total competitive distance of 301.26 km (187.19 mi).
