On June 6, 2017, a bomb explosion outside the Jama Masjid, a historic mosque in the western city of Herat in Afghanistan killed at least 7 civilians, and wounded at least 15 others. [1]
A bomb hidden in a rickshaw detonated near the Jama Masjid, a 12th-century mosque, killing seven people and injuring at least fifteen more. People were gathering at the mosque for Ramadan prayers. The Taliban denied responsibility for the attack in a statement to Al-Jazeera. [2] [3]
The Great Mosque of Herat or "Jami Masjid of Herat", is a mosque in the city of Herat, in the Herat Province of north-western Afghanistan. It was built by the Ghurids, under the rule of Sultan Ghiyath al-Din Muhammad Ghori, who laid its foundation in 1200 CE. Later, it was extended several times as Herat changed rulers down the centuries from the Kartids, Timurids, Mughals and then the Uzbeks, all of whom supported the mosque. The fundamental structure of the mosque from the Ghurid period has been preserved, but parts have been added and modified. The Friday mosque in Herat was given its present appearance during the 20th century.

On August 1, 2017, two suicide bombers entered a Shi'ite mosque named "Jadwadia" in Bekrabad, Herat, Afghanistan, during an evening prayer session. After throwing explosives into the crowd, one of the two men detonated his vest. The remaining attacker continued firing on the crowd before detonating his vest as well. The attack caused 33 deaths and left 66 people injured. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
The Islamic State–Taliban conflict is an ongoing insurgency waged by the Islamic State – Khorasan Province (IS-KP) against the Taliban regime in Afghanistan. The conflict initially began when both operated as rival insurgent groups in Nangarhar; since the formation of the Taliban's state in 2021, IS-KP members have enacted a campaign of terrorism targeting both civilians and assassinating Taliban members using hit-and-run tactics. The group have also caused incidents and attacks across the border in Pakistan.
On 18 October 2019, a bombing occurred in a mosque in Haska Meyna District, Nangarhar province, Afghanistan, killing at least 73 worshippers. Dozens more were injured in the attack. No group has claimed responsibility.

After 45 years of fighting, Afghanistan gives up where millions of people including men, women and children all died of extreme acute hunger as banditry and homicide become widescale through nationwide especially the ravaged city of Kabul under Taliban rule. The Afghan women and girls are banned from being seen at the windows, as well as medical training after they are forced to close one of the last remaining loopholes in the country. While the Taliban restrictions affecting all aspects of society and their lives for every female individuals banning their voices which turned Afghanistan into a giant prison. The Afghan society had returned to the Dark Ages after 3 year anniversary of the Fall of Kabul to the Taliban regime.
