Ketu District is a former district that was located in Volta Region, Ghana. Originally created as an ordinary district assembly on 10 March 1989, which was created from the former Anlo District Council. However on 29 February 2008, it was split off into two new districts: Ketu South District (which it was elevated to municipal district assembly status on 28 June 2012; capital: Denu) and Ketu North District (which it was also elevated to municipal district assembly status on 15 March 2018; capital: Dzodze). [1] The district assembly was located in the southeast part of Volta Region and had Denu as its capital town.

Kpando Municipal District is one of the eighteen districts in Volta Region, Ghana. Originally created as an ordinary district assembly on 10 March 1989 when it was known as Kpando District, until the southern part of the district was split off by a decree of president John Agyekum Kufuor on 19 August 2004 to create South Dayi District; thus the remaining part has been retained as Kpando District. However on 28 June 2012, the southern part of the district was later split off to create North Dayi District on 28 June 2012; while the remaining part was elevated to municipal district assembly status on the same year to become Kpando Municipal District. The municipality is located in the western part of Volta Region and has Kpando as its capital town.

Originally created as an municipal district assembly in 1988 when it was known as Tamale Municipal District, which was created from the former West Dagomba District Council, until it was elevated to metropolitan district assembly status on August 2004. Wassa West District is a former district that was located in Western Region, Ghana. Originally created as an ordinary district assembly in 1988, which was created from the former Wassa-Fiase-Mpohor District Council. However on 29 February 2008, it was split off into two new districts: Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipal District and Prestea-Huni Valley District. The district assembly was located in the eastern part of Western Region and had Tarkwa as its capital town.

Ho Municipal District is one of the eighteen districts in Volta Region, Ghana. Originally created as an ordinary district assembly on 10 March 1989 when it was known as Ho District, until the southern part of the district was split off by a decree of president John Agyekum Kufuor on 13 August 2004 to create Adaklu-Anyigbe District; thus the remaining part has been retained as Ho District. However on 28 June 2012, the western part of the district was later split off to create Ho West District; thus the remaining part was elevated to municipal district assembly status on that same year to become Ho Municipal District, which was established by Legislative Instrument (L.I.) 2074. The municipality is located in the central part of Volta Region and has Ho as its capital town.

Hohoe Municipal District Municipal District in Ghana

Hohoe Municipal District is one of the eighteen districts in Volta Region, Ghana. Originally created as an ordinary district assembly in 1988 when it was known as Hohoe District, until it was elevated to municipal district assembly status on 29 February 2008 to become Hohoe Municipal District. However on 28 June 2012, the southern part of the district was split off to create Afadzato South District; thus the remaining part has been retained as Hohoe Municipal District. However on 19 February 2019, the western part of the district was split off to create Anloga District; thus the remaining part has been retained as Keta Municipal District. Asante Akim Central Municipal District is one of the forty-three districts in Ashanti Region, Ghana. Originally created as an ordinary district assembly in 1988 as the 1st Asante Akim North District, which it was created from the former Asante Akim District Council. Later it was elevated to municipal district assembly status to become Asante Akim North Municipal District on November 2007. However on July 2012, the northern part of the district was split off to create a new Asante Akim North District; thus the remaining part has been renamed to become Asante Akim Central Municipal District. North Dayi District District in Ghana

North Dayi District is one of the eighteen districts in Volta Region, Ghana. Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Kpando District on 10 March 1989, until the southern part of the district was split off to create North Dayi District on 28 June 2012; thus the remaining part was elevated to municipal district assembly status to become Kpando Municipal District on the same year. The R10 Regional Highway is a highway in the Volta Region of Ghana. It begins at Tokor, on the northern edge of Denu and runs north through Dzodze, Agotime-Ziope and Agortime-Kpetoe ending at the regional capital of Ho. It is also known as the Ho - Denu road. It is an important link from Ho, the capital of the Volta Region which borders Togo and Denu near Aflao which is the main border crossing in the south between Ghana and Togo. The total length is about ninety-nine (99) kilometres.

The R12 Regional Highway is a highway in the Volta Region of Ghana. It starts from Akatsi in the west to Akanu on the border with Togo. It is 30 kilometres in length.

Anlo District Former District Council in Ghana

Anlo District is a former district council that was located in Volta Region, Ghana. Originally created as an ordinary district assembly in 1975. However, on 10 March 1989, it was split off into three new district assemblies: Keta District, Ketu District and Akatsi District. The district assembly was located in the southern part of Volta Region and had Keta as its capital town.
