Warangal is a city in the Indian state of Telangana and the district headquarters of Warangal district. It is the second largest city in Telangana with a population of 704,570 per 2011 Census of India, and spreading over an 406 km2 (157 sq mi). Warangal served as the capital of the Kakatiya dynasty which was established in 1163. The monuments left by the Kakatiyas include fortresses, lakes, temples and stone gateways which, in the present, helped the city to become a popular tourist attraction. The Kakatiya Kala Thoranam was included in the emblem of Telangana by the state government and Warangal is also touted as the cultural capital of Telangana.

The heart of this area is called HITEC City which has the highest concentration of IT/ITES establishments in the city. Located in Ranga Reddy district of Telangana, It is administered as Ward No. 107 of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.
Rajendranagar is a mandal in Ranga Reddy district of the Indian state of Telangana. and it is also Rajendranagar revenue division. Rajendranagar is being developed as an IT hub. Government of Telangana has planned to develop an IT cluster in Rajendra Nagar which will stretch across 350 acres of land from Budwel to Kismatpur. Budwel, Kismatpur, Sikanderguda and Sivarampalli are some of the nearby residential areas. Manasa Hills and Kothwalguda eco-hill park are tourist attractions in Rajendranagar.

Sanjeevaiah Park is a public greenspace and park in the heart of Hyderabad, India. Built on 92 acres (37 ha) along the banks of Hussain Sagar lake, the park is named after Damodaram Sanjivayya, an erstwhile Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The park is managed by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority. The park won the Best Open Landscape Award during the 2010 Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage award presentations. The park also houses the second tallest Indian Flag.
Manikonda is a commercial hub and a residential suburb in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This suburb has boomed in recent years due to the presence of leading software company headquarters in the area as well as Lanco hills, a luxury hi-rise residential project, and an upcoming Chitrapuri Colony residential layout for Telugu cinema workers.
Once upon a time, Hyderabad was known as City of Lakes. Some of these lakes are natural and various are manmade bodies. As per various sources only a few decades back, Hyderabad had a large number of water bodies such as lakes, reservoirs, rivers, streams, aquaculture ponds, tanks etc.. Most of these lakes have totally disappeared and the surface area of most of the surviving lakes have shrunken and turned to tiny ponds and cesspool. Some of the lakes which have totally disappeared are Tigal Kunta, Somajiguda Tank, Mir Jumla tank, Pahar Tigal Kunta, Kunta Bhawani Das, Nawab Saheb Kunta, Afzalsagar, Nallakunta, Masab Tank etc. Hussainsagar Lake, Kunta Mallaiyapalli have shrunk drastically. Out of thousands of water bodies those were existing in 1970s in various sizes in and around Hyderabad, today only about 70 to 500 of them have survived. Most of them have disappeared due to encroachment or have been illegally drained for real estate projects by private or government agencies. The existing lakes have been used to dump garbage and sewage water. Most of these lakes and tanks were built during the regime of Qutub Shah in 16th and 17th century and later by Nizams as a source of drinking water for the residents of Hyderabad. The area of Hussain Sagar, which is the largest lake in Hyderabad shrunk by more than 40% i.e. from 550 ha to 349 ha in just 30 years. This lake was built in 1575 AD and since 1930 is not being used as a source for drinking water.
The Heritage Conservation Committee under HUDA was formed by state government in 1981 to retain architectural, historical and social value of buildings. Hyderabad Urban Development Authority has listed almost 160 buildings in Hyderabad in Telangana state as heritage structures. Almost 70% of heritage buildings are in private hands. Heritage structures include buildings, monuments, rock structures etc.
Durgam Cheruvu, also known as Raidurgam Cheruvu, is a freshwater lake located in Rangareddy district, Jagathgiri Gutta Telangana, India. The lake, which is spread over 83 acres (34 ha), is located near the city of Hyderabad. The lake is also known as Secret Lake because it is hidden between the localities of Jubilee Hills and Madhapur. The Durgam Cheruvu Bridge, which traverses the lake, was inaugurated in September 2020.
Khajaguda is a major commercial and residential area in Hyderabad, Telangana, in the suburb of Gachibowli. It is in the vicinity of Financial district, Gachibowli and HITEC City. Several residential apartments like ASBL Lakeside, IT HEIGHTS, Niharika Interlake, Niharika Lakefront are situated in Khajaguda.
Safilguda lake, originally named as Nadimi Cheruvu and Mini Tank Bund, is a lake located in Safilguda Hamlet, Neredmet Village, Secunderabad, Telangana, India. There is a park adjacent to the lake called Safilguda Lake Park. The lake has a small island called Nadimi Bird Island. It is covered with thick trees, which attract a variety of wildlife, especially migratory birds. Katta Misamma Temple is located on the shoreline of the lake. The road around the lake is similar to the Necklace Road around the "tank bund" on the Hussain Sagar Lake and hence the lake is also called "Mini Tank Bund". The park is a popular attraction for jogging and evening walks. Several movies have been shot at this lake. "Elluvochi Godaramma" song shot at Safilguda lake is a very popular song.
Society to Save Rocks is a not-for-profit entity established in 1996 in Hyderabad, India, by rocks enthusiasts with preservation motif, especially those rock formations abutting the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad amidst the Deccan Plateau. Frauke Quader, Laxma Goud and others have been credited with the formation of the Society way back in the 1990s.
Raidurgam is a neighbourhood in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is close to HITEC City and is part of the HMDA. Salarpuria Sattva Knowledge City, T-Hub and T-Works are prominent buildings in its vicinity. In March 2023, Telangana High Court passed judgement that 84-acre (0.34 km2) on survey number 46 of Raidurg village, Serilingampally mandal is state government land.

Khajaguda Talab, also known as Pedda Cheruvu is a small lake in Ranga Reddy District in the Indian state of Telangana and on the western edge of the city of Hyderabad, in the suburb of Manikonda, in the middle of Khajaguda area. It is situated near to Engineering Staff College of India and CARE Hospitals. DSR The First, a residential Apartment is located near the eastern edge of this lake. Khajaguda Talab is one of the few lakes in the twin cities which is linear in shape.
The Hyderabad Airport Express Metro or Corridor IV is an approved Hyderabad Metro line from Raidurg metro station to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. The total length of the line is 31 km (19 mi). Hyderabad Airport Express Metro is fully funded by Government of Telangana through the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) mode.
