Legacy Entertainment (formerly The Goddard Group) is a themed entertainment integrator and design firm based in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, California. [1] The company, then known as Gary Goddard Entertainment (GGE) and later the Goddard Group, was formed by Gary Goddard in 2002, after leaving his previous company, Landmark Entertainment Group. Goddard Group reorganized, changed ownership, and was rebranded Legacy Entertainment in 2018 when Gary Goddard left the company following accusations of sexual assault. [2] [3]
Legacy Entertainment has created a number of entertainment projects in a variety of forms, including theme parks, resorts, casinos, retail malls, Broadway shows, and films. The company has designed and developed attractions for clients such as Cirque du Soleil, Universal Studios, Six Flags, Insomniac Events, Haichang Polar Ocean World, Lotte World, Galaxy Entertainment Group, and Melco Resorts & Entertainment. In 2012, the Goddard Group announced a partnership with South Korea’s Lotte World theme park to create a number of new rides, shows, and attractions. [5] Eight attractions opened as a result of this collaboration, including Jumping Fish, [6] Do You Speak Beluga?, [7] Underland, [8] Brother Moon & Sister Sun’s Tall Tales, [9] The Welcome Center, [10] Let’s Dream! In November 2014, Mexican resort developer Vidanta announced their intention to build and operate the world’s first Cirque du Soleil theme park at its resort in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. The Goddard Group is the project’s designer. [13]
In May 2015, Gary Goddard revealed that the Goddard Group and Cirque du Soleil had signed a joint venture partnership agreement that would help expand Cirque into experiential entertainment. [14]

The Walt Disney World Resort, also called Walt Disney World or Disney World, or simply abbreviated WDW, is an entertainment resort complex in Bay Lake and Lake Buena Vista, Florida, United States, governed by the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District. The resort is located within Orange and Osceola counties, and located closest to the cities of Winter Garden and Kissimmee in Greater Orlando. Opened on October 1, 1971, the resort is operated by Disney Experiences, a division of The Walt Disney Company. The property covers nearly 25,000 acres, of which half has been used. Walt Disney World contains four separate theme parks, two water parks, two mini-golf courses, and four golf courses. There are twenty-one Disney-operated resorts on the property, and many other resorts on and near the property. Disney World also contains the Boardwalk, Disney Springs, and Flamingo Crossings areas for shopping, dining, and entertainment. The Fort Wilderness area offers guests numerous outdoor recreational activities and includes the Tri-Circle D. Ranch. The ESPN Sports Complex on the property hosts a variety of activities throughout the year, including runDisney marathon races and dance and cheer competitions in partnership with Varsity Cheer.
Epcot, stylized in all uppercase as EPCOT, is a theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida. It is owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company through its Experiences division. Universal Orlando Resort, often shortened to Universal Orlando, is a 541-acre (219 ha) theme park and entertainment resort complex located in Orlando, Florida. Following the opening of Universal Studios Florida in 1990, NBCUniversal moved forward with plans to expand from a single park into a large resort hoping to compete with Walt Disney World. In 1999, a second theme park called Islands of Adventure opened in addition to CityWalk, a shopping promenade and nightlife district that incorporates a variety of themed hotels, restaurants, and retail outlets. A 30-acre (12 ha) themed water park, Volcano Bay, was added in 2017, and a fourth upcoming theme park, Epic Universe, is scheduled to open in Summer 2025.
Lotte World or Lotte World Adventure is a major recreation complex in Seoul, South Korea. It consists of a large indoor theme park, an outdoor amusement park called "Magic Island", an artificial island on a lake linked by monorail, shopping malls, a luxury hotel, an observation tower, a Korean folk museum, sports facilities, and movie theaters. Opened in July 1989, Lotte World receives approximately 7.3 million visitors each year. Lotte World's sister theme park, Lotte World Adventure Busan, opened in March 2022.
Disneyland Park, originally Euro Disneyland Park, is a theme park found at Disneyland Paris in Marne-la-Vallée, France. The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man is a 3D motion simulator and dark ride located at Universal Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida. Based on the Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man, it was originally built for Islands of Adventure's grand opening in 1999. A second version of the attraction also existed at Universal Studios Japan from 2004 to 2024. The attraction has a hybrid configuration that combines motion vehicles with 3D projection and elaborate physical sets.

Legoland Billund Resort, the original Legoland park, opened on 7 June 1968 in Billund, Denmark.
