Lehri District was the 31st district in Balochistan, Pakistan. It was created in May 2013 from parts of the districts of Sibi and Kachhi. [3] But in January 2018, the Cabinet of Balochistan decided to remove Lehri district, which would be annexed into Sibi. [4]
Lehri District used to consist of the following tehsils:
Bakhtiarabad will be the headquarters of the new district carved out under section 6 of the Balochistan Land Revenue Act 1967, according to a notification issued by the revenue department on Tuesday.[ citation needed ]
It said the district would comprise the tehsils of Lehri and Bhag, except the Sorani revenue area. The tehsils have been separated from the districts of Sibi and Kachhi.[ citation needed ]
Separating Lehri from Sibi was a longstanding demand of political parties and people of the area. The number of districts in Balochistan has now reached 31.[ citation needed ]
Balochistan is a province of Pakistan. Located in the southwestern region of the country, Balochistan is the largest province of Pakistan by land area but is the least populated one. Kachhi or Kacchi, previously known until 2008 as Bolan District, is a district located in the central part of the Balochistan province in Pakistan. The Bolan area remained under one district Kacchi until 31 December 1991. The Deputy Commissioner's office started functioning on 17 May 1992, and Bolan became one of the four districts of Naseerabad Division, until the abolition of Divisions in 2000.
Jhal Magsi District is a district in the central part of the Balochistan province in Pakistan. It is purely Baloch area previously part of Kachhi District, it was established as a district of its own in December 1991 and after a brief period in which it was known as Kachhi, its name was changed to Jhal Magsi in May 1992. The district is named after the town of Jhal, seat of the Magsi tribe.
Musakhel (Urdu: ضلع موسیخیل) is a district in the northeast of the Balochistan province of Pakistan. It became a separate district in 1992, prior to which it was a tehsil within Loralai District. Musakhel District is now part of Loralai Division, which was created after splitting Zhob Division.
Sibi is a district in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. The climate and topography of Sibi District is quite varied compared to the other districts of Balochistan. It is also known as the "hotspot" of Pakistan where the temperatures in the summer exceeded 52.6 °C (126.7 °F). Until 2002 the district had two sub-divisions, Sibi and Harnai, further organized into Tehsils and sub-tehsils: Sibi, Kutmandi and Sangan. Lehri was joined with Sibi district in 2002 and Harnai was made a separate district. Sibi tehsil is predominately inhabited by Pashtun tribes of Panni, Khajjaks and Tareens. Town of sibi is chiefly built upon lands of Marghazani and Dehpal.
Kalat District is a district located in Kalat Division of Balochistan, Pakistan. Kalat was made a separate district on February 3, 1954. At that time Khuzdar and Mastung districts were sub-divisions of Kalat. Khuzdar became a separate district by notification of 1 March 1974, while Mastung was announced as a separate district on 18 February 1992. The district draws its name from the ancient city of Kalat. The old name of the district headquarters was Kahan. The current district consists of two sub-divisions, i.e. Kalat and Manguchar, four tehsils: Kalat Mangochar, Johan, and Gazgz, 81 Patwar circles and 614 mauza (villages).

Balochistan Levies is a paramilitary gendarmerie in the Pakistani province of Balochistan. It operates as one of two primary law enforcement agencies tasked with maintaining law and order in the province, along with Balochistan Police. The levies force has jurisdiction in most districts of Balochistan.
The Kacchi Plain or Kachhi Plain also known as Kach Gandava is an ancient region located in central Pakistan, in Balochistan Province.
The Khajjak is a village at a 8 kilometers distance from Sibi city of Balochistan, Pakistan. The whole of the Khajjak town is very rich particularly in wheat. The Khajjak tribe hold the means of irrigation by the Nari completely in their hands and their crops extent of cultivation were unequaled in any part of Kachhi District.
