"Like It's Christmas" is a Christmas song by American group Jonas Brothers. It was released on November 8, 2019, and is the band's final release of the year. It is the fourth Christmas song released by them after "Girl of My Dreams" in 2007, "Joyful Kings" in 2008, and "Summertime Anthem" in 2009.

Commercial performance

"Like It's Christmas" reached number one on the US Adult Contemporary chart in December 2019, becoming the Jonas Brothers' second number one on the chart. It also reached a peak position of No. 40 on the Billboard Hot 100 on the week ending January 6, 2024. [2]

Live performances

The band performed the song on their Happiness Begins Tour beginning on December 4, 2019 in Omaha. [3] On December 13, 2019, they performed the song along with the singles "Burnin' Up", "Sucker", "Cool" and "Only Human". [4] They performed the song live on an episode of the Netflix show Dash & Lily , produced by Nick Jonas. [5]

Let It Snow!", also known as simply "Let It Snow", is a song written by lyricist Sammy Cahn and composer Jule Styne in July 1945 in Hollywood, California, during a heatwave as Cahn and Styne imagined cooler conditions. The song was first recorded that fall by Vaughn Monroe, was released just after Thanksgiving, and became a hit by Christmas.

"White Christmas" is an Irving Berlin song reminiscing about an old-fashioned Christmas setting. The song was written by Berlin for the 1942 musical film Holiday Inn. The composition won the Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 15th Academy Awards. Bing Crosby's record topped the Billboard chart for 11 weeks in 1942 and returned to the number one position again in December 1943 and 1944. His version would return to the top 40 a dozen times in subsequent years.

It was first released in Europe on 30 October 1998, by Columbia Records. In the United States, it was released on 3 November 1998 through Epic Records. The album features cover versions of popular Christmas songs and original material, including "I'm Your Angel" and "The Prayer". Dion worked with David Foster and Ric Wake, who produced most of the album. These Are Special Times was released after two of Dion's most successful albums, Falling into You (1996) and Let's Talk About Love (1997).

"Sleigh Ride" is a light orchestra standard composed by Leroy Anderson. He formed the idea for the piece during a heat wave in July 1946, and finished it in February 1948. Its first performance was by the Boston Pops, Arthur Fiedler conducting, on May 4, 1948. The original recordings were instrumental versions. The lyrics, about riding in a sleigh and other wintertime activities, were written by Mitchell Parish in 1950. Anderson also made arrangements for wind band and piano.

By the song's 50th anniversary in 2008, Lee's original version had sold over 15 million copies around the world with the 4th most digital downloads sold of any Christmas single. In 2019, Lee's recording of the song was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. In November 2023, Lee released a music video for the song, and in December 2023 the song topped the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, marking Lee's third number-one single and making Lee the oldest artist ever to top the Hot 100 at age 78, later breaking the record once again one week later at the age of 79. "Mistletoe" is a pop and R&B song, that has reggae influences. "Mistletoe" received generally positive reviews from most music critics. The song reached the top ten in Canada, Denmark and Norway, and slightly missed the top 10 in the US, peaking at 11, while also reaching the top forty in nine other countries. It set the record for the highest debut for a Christmas song in Billboard Hot 100 history. The song's accompanying music video was directed by Roman White. It features the singer singing on a snowy, lit-up street.

It was released through Republic Records and Joytime Collective as a single on May 21, 2021. Produced by Marshmello and co-produced by Alesso, Digital Farm Animals, and Heavy Mellow, the producers wrote the song alongside Richard Boardman and Pablo Bowman of the songwriting collective the Six, Phil Plested, and William Vaughan. Christian Arnold, David Martin and Geoff Morrow of the band Butterscotch are also credited as songwriters, due to an interpolation of their song "Can't Smile Without You" in the chorus of "Leave Before You Love Me". Programming was solely handled by Marshmello and mixing and mastering was handled by Manny Marroquin. Of the Jonas Brothers' members individual contributions to the song, brothers Nick and Joe share vocals and brother Kevin plays guitar and background vocals.
