Written alongside producer Jazze Pha, it was released on November 1, 2004, as the second single of the former's debut studio album, Goodies. It peaked within the top 10 of the charts in several countries worldwide, including Germany, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. In the United States, the song peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and stayed there for seven weeks. The song is heavily inspired by 1980s electro music production. Throughout the song, Ciara gives a description of how the song's beat feels as she exhorts party-goers to dance to the music. "1, 2 Step" was ranked 59th on Billboard's Top 100 Songs of the 2000s.

"Waiting for a Star to Fall" is a song by American pop music duo Boy Meets Girl in 1988, written by the duo's members, Shannon Rubicam and George Merrill. They wrote the song after witnessing a falling star at a Whitney Houston concert and originally offered the song to Houston, but Arista Records CEO Clive Davis rejected it. American singer Belinda Carlisle then recorded a demo of the song but refused its inclusion on her 1987 album Heaven on Earth, so Rubicam and Merrill decided to record and release the song themselves.

Wanted is the fourth studio album by American rapper Bow Wow. The album was released on July 12, 2005, by Columbia Records and Sony Urban Music. The production of the album was primarily handled by Bow Wow's long-time producer Jermaine Dupri, Bow Wow, Lil Ronnie, LRoc, Bryan Michael Cox and No I.D. The album also features guest appearances by Omarion, Snoop Dogg, Ciara among others. This was Bow Wow's first album to contain uncensored profanity, although it did not receive a Parental Advisory label.

"Kuschel Song" is the debut single of German animated rabbit Schnuffel. Originally published by Jamba! as a ringtone, it was turned into a song by Sebastian Nussbaum and Andreas Marek-Wendorf. Released on 8 February 2008, "Kuschel Song" debuted at the top of the German Singles Chart, staying there for eight weeks, and was certified platinum by the Bundesverband Musikindustrie (BVMI) for 300,000 copies sold. After topping the Austrian Singles Chart and reaching number two in Switzerland, the song was released internationally. "Kuschel Song" was later included as the second track on Schnuffel's debut album, Ich hab' Dich lieb, released the same year.
