KSK Beveren is a Belgian football club from Beveren in East Flanders with founded number 2300 and with yellow and blue as colors. The club became national champion twice in its existence and won the Belgian Cup twice. The men's branch of the club was temporarily discontinued in 2010, until 2022 only the women's team played at the Royal Belgian Football Association under founding number 2300. In 2022, after an agreement with Waasland-Beveren, the founding number was released again for men's football, so the club has been active since the 2022–23 season again with a men's team. KSK Beveren is the first football club in Belgium that is completely controlled by supporters and is bound by the principles of Supporters Direct.

The Belgian Pro League, officially the Jupiler Pro League, due to sponsorship reasons with Jupiler, is the top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium. Contested by 16 clubs from the 2023–24 season onwards, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Challenger Pro League.

Racing White Daring Molenbeek Brussels F.C., often simply referred to as RWDM Brussels, F.C. Brussels or simply Brussels, was a Belgian professional association football club based in the municipality of Molenbeek, in the Brussels Capital-Region. They last played in the second division during the 2013–14 season where they finished 8th, but folded at the end of the season due to financial trouble. The club was a continuation of FC Strombeek, a club from the Brussels suburb of Strombeek-Bever with matricule №1936 which was formed in 1932. However, Strombeek merged with Racing White Daring Molenbeek (RWDM) in the 2000s and practising the tradition of RWDM instead. FC Brussels played at the Stade Edmond Machtens, Molenbeek's former stadium. Their highest league ranking was a 10th place in the first division in 2005–06.

Koninklijke Football Club Rhodienne-De Hoek is a Belgian association football club based in Sint-Genesius-Rode, Flemish Brabant. The club was created in 1894 as Racing Football Club. It became a member of the Royal Belgian Football Association in 1895 as Racing Club de Bruxelles and later received the matricule n°6. It took part in the first Belgian league the same year and won 6 titles and 1 cup until the First World War.

Royal Football Club de Liège is a professional football club based in Liège, Belgium. It currently plays in Challenger Pro League from 2023–24. Its matricule is 4, meaning that it was the fourth club to register with the country's national federation, and the club was the first Belgian champion in history. The 'philosophy' of the club is based on integration of local young players and on popular and faithful support. The club was also known for being 'homeless' between 1995 and 2015, but is now playing on its own ground in the Rocourt area of Liège.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Camille Van Hoorden</span> Belgian footballer and coach

Camille Van Hoorden was a Belgian footballer and coach. He was part of the Belgian team, which won the bronze medal at the exhibition tournament at the Olympic Games in Paris in 1900, listed in the Official Report as C. Van Hoorden.

The 1925–26 season was the 26th season of competitive football in Belgium. Beerschot AC won their 4th Division I title, which was also their 3rd consecutive Belgian title. At the end of the season, SC Anderlechtois, CS Verviétois and R Tilleur FC were relegated to the Promotion, while RC de Bruxelles, FC Malinois and CS La Forestoise were promoted.
For season 1926-27, major changes were brought to the league system. Division I was renamed Division d'Honneur, Promotion was renamed Division I with one division of 14 teams and a third level was introduced, named Promotion and played as 3 divisions of 14 teams each. The bottom two teams in Division d'Honneur would be relegated to Division I (with the top two in Division I promoted, while the bottom 3 teams in Division I would be relegated to the Promotion, with the winners of the 3 Promotion divisions would be promoted to Division I.
Also, the Belgian Cup was played for the first time since World War I.

The 1927–28 season was the 28th season of competitive football in Belgium. The Belgian Cup was not played this season and would only resume during the 1934-35 season. The Belgium national football team took part to their 3rd Olympic Games football tournament. They qualified for the quarter-finals, losing to Argentina. Beerschot AC won the Premier Division.

The 1928–29 season was the 29th season of competitive football in Belgium. R Antwerp FC won their first Premier Division title, after a test match they won 2–0 to rival Beerschot AC. The test match was played because both teams ended up the season with the same number of points at the top of the Premier Division.

Royal Léopold FC is a Belgian football club from the city of Brussels. It was founded in 1893 as Léopold Football Club and over the years, numerous name changes in its history and mergers have happened with neighboring clubs who also struggled to keep the club alive. The club once played in the highest division, but later dropped to the provincial series, and now it currently plays in the Belgian Promotion D, the fourth level in Belgian football.

Florent "Flor" Jan Maria Lambrechts was a Belgian footballer who played as a forward and midfielder. He played in the First Division for several seasons with Antwerp FC and RCS La Forestoise.

Adolphus Franciscus "Frank" König was a Belgian footballer who played as a forward for Belgian club Racing Club de Bruxelles. He was also a manager who coached the Belgian squad that participated in the football tournament at the 1900 Summer Olympics. He was also a referee who refereed the very first game of the Netherlands national team. He was also a founding member of the Belgian Football Association in 1895. He was topscorer in the Belgian First Division in two back-to-back seasons in 1898 and 1899. Besides being an outstanding football player, he was also an outstanding athlete who also performed in other modalities, notably athletics.
