A women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) is a 20 overs-per-side cricket match played in a maximum of 150 minutes between two ICC member sides, and is played under the rules of Twenty20 cricket. [1] The first such match was held in August 2004 between England and New Zealand. [2] The India women's national cricket team played its first WT20I against England in August 2006; India won the match by eight wickets. [3]

The list is arranged in the order in which each player won her first Twenty20 cap. Where more than one player won her first Twenty20 cap in the same match, those players are listed alphabetically by surname.

The India women's cricket team played South Africa women's cricket team in February 2018. The tour consisted of three Women's One Day Internationals (WODIs) and five Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is). The WODI games are part of the 2017–20 ICC Women's Championship. India Women won the WODI series 2–1. India Women won the WT20I series 3–1, after the fourth match was washed out.

Taniya Bhatia is an Indian cricketer. She is primarily a wicket-keeper. She plays for Punjab and India. She is currently trained under coach RP Singh. The International Cricket Council (ICC) named Bhatia as one of the five breakout stars in women's cricket in 2018.

The tour consisted of three Women's One Day Internationals (WODIs), which formed part of the 2017–20 ICC Women's Championship, and five Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) matches. The matches were played in Galle, Katunayake and Colombo. India Women won the WODI series 2–1, and the WT20I series 4–0, after the second match finished in a no result.

The 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Final was a day/night Women's Twenty20 International cricket match played on 8 March 2020 between Australia and India at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne. It was the culmination of the 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup, the seventh of the tournament history since it started in 2009. Australia won the match by 85 runs, securing their fifth T20 World Cup title. This was the first time that India had reached the final.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Cricket at the 2022 Commonwealth Games</span> International cricket tournament

A cricket tournament was held at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England, during July and August 2022. It was cricket's first inclusion in the Commonwealth Games since a List A men's tournament was held at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The matches were played as Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is), with only a women's tournament being part of the Games.

The South Africa women's cricket team toured India to play against the India women's cricket team in September and October 2019. The tour consisted of three Women's One Day Internationals (WODIs) and six Women's Twenty20 International (WT20) matches. The WODI matches were not part of the 2017–20 ICC Women's Championship.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Shafali Verma</span> Indian cricketer

Shafali Verma is an Indian cricketer who plays for the India women's national cricket team. In 2019, at the age of 15, she became the youngest cricketer to play in a Women's Twenty20 International match for India. In June 2021, she became the youngest player, male or female, to represent India in all three formats of international cricket. On 8 October 2022 she became the youngest cricketer to complete 1000 runs in T20 Internationals. Under her captaincy, India won the 2023 ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup.

The India women's cricket team played the West Indies women's cricket team in November 2019. The tour consisted of three Women's One Day Internationals (WODIs), which formed part of the 2017–20 ICC Women's Championship, and five Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) matches. India won the WODI series 2–1. In the WT20I series, India won the first three matches, to take an unassailable lead. India then went on to win the remaining two fixtures, to sweep the series 5–0.

The India women's cricket team played against Australia women's cricket team in September and October 2021, ahead of the 2022 Women's Cricket World Cup. The tour consisted of three Women's One Day International (WODI) matches in September, a day/night Test match at the Carrara Stadium in Queensland between 30 September and 3 October, and three Women's Twenty20 Internationals in October. It was the first day/night Test match to be played by the Indian women's team. The last time the India women's cricket team played a Test match in Australia was during their tour in February and March 2006.

Ayushi Soni is an Indian cricketer. In November 2020, Soni played for the IPL Supernovas in the 2020 Women's T20 Challenge tournament. In February 2021, Soni earned her maiden call-up to the India women's cricket team, for their limited overs matches against South Africa. She made her Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) debut for India, against South Africa, on 23 March 2021.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Yastika Bhatia</span> Indian cricketer

Yastika Harish Bhatia is an Indian cricketer. In February 2021, Bhatia earned her maiden call-up to the India women's cricket team, for their limited overs matches against South Africa. Bhatia said that her selection to the national team was surreal, and thanked her coach and club for the opportunity. She had also played for the India Women's A team during their tour of Australia in December 2019.
