A Twenty20 International is an international cricket match between two representative teams. A Twenty20 International is played under the rules of Twenty20 cricket. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full international status to Twenty20 women's matches played between member sides from 1 July 2018 onwards. [1] The West Indies women's team made its debut in T20I when it defeated Ireland in Dublin by 75 runs. [2] As of June 2024, 51 women cricketers have played Twenty20 international for the West Indies. [3] Six players have captained the team. [4]
The West Indies women's cricket team is a multi-national cricket team that represents the West Indies (Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, parts of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Montserrat, British Virgin Islands, Sint Maarten and the US Virgin Islands). The list comprises all members of the West Indies women's cricket team who have played at least one Twenty20 international match.

A Twenty20 International (T20I) is a form of Twenty20 cricket, in which each team plays a single innings with a maximum of twenty overs. The matches are played between international teams recognized by the International Cricket Council (ICC). In the T20I format, each bowler is restricted to a maximum of four overs. A mandatory powerplay is taken during the first six overs of an innings.
Kieron Adrian Pollard is a Trinidadian cricketer, who captained the West Indies cricket team in limited overs cricket. He currently plays in various T20 leagues around the globe as an all-rounder. He also captains MI Cape Town, MI Emirates and MI New York in the SA20, ILT20 and MLC respectively. He is currently serving as the batting coach of the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League.He is also the assistant coach of the England cricket team for the 2024 ICC World Twenty20. He was part of the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 winning team for West Indies. During his period, he was one of the most aggressive batsman and he also has the record of six 6s in an over against Sri Lanka.
The Pakistan women's national cricket team, also known as Green Shirts or Women in Green, represents Pakistan in international women's cricket. One of ten teams competing in the ICC Women's Championship, the team is organised by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), a full member of the International Cricket Council (ICC).
Suzannah Wilson Bates is a New Zealand cricketer and former captain of national women cricket team. Born in Dunedin, she plays domestic cricket for the Otago Sparks, as well as for the White Ferns. She currently holds the highest score and highest batting average in the New Zealand Women's Twenty20 cricket team. She won the ICC Women's ODI Cricketer of the Year in 2013. Bates again won ICC Women's ODI and T20I Cricketer of the Year 2016.
Deandra Jalisa Shakira Dottin is a Barbadian cricketer and former track and field athlete. A right-handed batter and right-arm fast bowler, Dottin made her debut for the West Indies women's cricket team in June 2008. She plays as a hard-hitting lower-order batter, and scored her first century in a Women's Twenty20 International in 2010. She played in her 100th Women's One Day International (WODI) match, when the West Indies played India in the group stage of the 2017 Women's Cricket World Cup, on 29 June 2017. She plays domestic cricket for Trinbago Knight Riders and Manchester Originals, and has previously played for Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Lancashire Thunder, North West Thunder, London Spirit, Perth Scorchers, Brisbane Heat, Adelaide Strikers, Trailblazers and Supernovas.
Stafanie Roxann Taylor is a Jamaican cricketer who is a former captain of the West Indies women's cricket team. She has represented them over 250 times since her debut in 2008. A right-handed batter and off break bowler, Taylor was selected as the 2011 ICC Women's Cricketer of the Year – the first West Indian to receive the accolade. She was also the first woman to score 1,000 runs in ODIs for the West Indies. She plays domestic cricket for Jamaica and Guyana Amazon Warriors and has previously played for Auckland, Sydney Thunder, Adelaide Strikers, Western Storm, Southern Vipers, Southern Brave and Trailblazers.
A Super Over, also known as a one-over eliminator or a one over per side eliminator, is a tie-breaking method used in limited-overs cricket matches. If a match ends in a "tie", it proceeds to a Super Over, in which each team plays a single additional over of six balls to determine the match winner. The team scoring the most runs in that over is declared the winner. Following a rule change in October 2019 for knockout and bilateral series matches, if the first Super Over also ends in a tie, another Super Over is played.
Johnson Charles is a St Lucian international cricketer who plays for the West Indies. As a wicket-keeper-batsman, Charles started his ODI career against Australia in March 2012. His first T20I came against England in September 2011, and he became just the second cricketer from the island of St Lucia to play for the West Indies. Johnson was included in the West Indies' 15-man squad for the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 held in September and October that year, where the team won the tournament. Charles was also a member of the West Indies team that won the 2016 T20 World Cup.
Anisa Mohammed is a Trinidadian cricketer who plays for Trinidad and Tobago, Trinbago Knight Riders and the West Indies. She plays as a right-arm off spin bowler. Since her international debut at 15 years of age she has played in 122 One Day International (WODI) and 111 Twenty20 International (WT20I) matches. Mohammed was the first cricketer, male or female, to take 100 wickets in T20Is. In WODIs, she is currently fifth on the all-time dismissals list with 151 wickets to her name. She was also the first bowler for the West Indies to take 100 wickets in WODIs, and the first for the West Indies to take a hat-trick in a Women's Twenty20 International match. In January 2024, Mohammed announced her retirement from international cricket.
Jason Omar Holder is a Barbadian cricketer and the former captain of the West Indies cricket team. He is a right arm medium-fast bowling all-rounder who features in all three cricketing formats. In January 2019, he was ranked as the number one all rounder in the world according to the official ICC Test rankings. In August 2019, Cricket West Indies named him as the Test Player of the Year and on 14 April 2021, Holder was named one of Wisden's Five Cricketers of the Year. Holder is the first West Indian male cricketer to take a hat-trick in a T20I, and the fifth, to achieve both 2000 runs and 100 wickets in one day internationals. He is also the second West Indian, after Sir Garfield Sobers, to attain both 2500 runs and 150 wickets in test match cricket. Holder was a member of the West Indies team that won the 2016 T20 World Cup.
Smriti Mandhana is an Indian international cricketer who plays for the national team. She plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Women's Premier League. In domestic cricket, she represents Maharashtra. Mandhana has won three ICC Awards including Cricketer of the Year and ODI Cricketer of the Year.
Hayley Kristen Matthews is a Barbadian sportswoman. She plays international cricket for the West Indies as an all-rounder, batting right-handed and bowling right-arm off break. She plays domestic cricket for Barbados, Barbados Royals and Melbourne Renegades, and has previously played for Tasmania, Lancashire Thunder, Southern Vipers, Loughborough Lightning, Velocity and Hobart Hurricanes. She has also represented Barbados in the javelin throw at several international track and field competitions. In June 2022, Matthews was named as the captain of the West Indies women's cricket team, taking over from Stafanie Taylor.
Gudakesh Motie is a Guyanese cricketer who plays for Guyana in West Indian domestic cricket. He is a left-arm orthodox bowler. He made his international debut for the West Indies cricket team in December 2021.
Mukesh Kumar is an Indian international cricketer.. Mukesh plays as right fast bowler for the India national cricket team in international cricket, for the Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and for Bengal in domestic cricket and for Mohun Bagan in CAB first division and for Sobisco Smashers Malda in Bengal Pro T20 League. He made his Test debut in July 2023, playing for India against West Indies.
Shamilia Shontell Connell is a Barbadian cricketer who represents the West Indies internationally. A right-arm fast bowler, she made her international debut in 2014. She plays domestic cricket for Barbados and Guyana Amazon Warriors.
