Since their first match in 2009, 53 women have represented the Sri Lanka national women's cricket team in Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is). [1] A Twenty20 International is a cricket match between two international representative teams, each having WT20I status, as determined by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
This list includes all players who have played at least one Twenty20 International match and is initially arranged in the order of debut appearance. Where more than one player won their first cap in the same match, their surnames are initially listed alphabetically at the time of debut.

Frank Dimuth Madushanka Karunaratne, popularly known as Dimuth Karunaratne, is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer and former captain of the Sri Lanka Test and ODI teams. Considered as one of the best Test openers in the world, he has been included 3 times in the ICC Test Cricket Team of the Year. He is the opening batter for Sri Lanka in Test cricket and ODIs. He plays first-class cricket for the Sinhalese Sports Club.

Dickwella Patabendige Dilantha Niroshan Dickwella, known as Niroshan Dickwella, is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer, who plays all formats of the game for Sri Lanka. A left-hand batsman, he also plays as a wicket-keeper of the team. Dickwella is known for hitting left handed Dilscoops. In November 2017, he was named the emerging cricketer of the year for the 2016–17 season at Sri Lanka Cricket's annual awards.
Balapuwaduge Kusal Gimhan Mendis, popularly known as Kusal Mendis is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who plays as a top-order batter in all forms of the game and current captain of national ODI team. He only played sixteen first-class matches before playing for the national side. In November 2017, he was named the One Day International (ODI) batsman of the year for the 2016–17 season at Sri Lanka Cricket's annual awards.
Dhananjaya Maduranga de Silva, or commonly Dhananjaya de Silva is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer, who plays for Sri Lanka in all formats of the game and for Tamil Union in domestic cricket and current captain of the national team in Test. In November 2017, he was named the Test batsman of the year for the 2016–17 season at Sri Lanka Cricket's annual awards.
South African women's cricket team toured Sri Lanka in the beginning of 2014–15 season. The tour consisted of a series of 4 One day internationals and 3 Twenty20 internationals. First three of the four ODIs formed a part of the 2014–16 ICC Women's Championship.
The West Indies cricket team toured Sri Lanka in February and March 2020 to play three One Day International (ODI) and two Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The full schedule for the tour was confirmed by Sri Lanka Cricket on 21 January 2020. The West Indies last toured Sri Lanka in October and November 2015.
The Netherlands women's national cricket team toured Sri Lanka in November 1997. They played Sri Lanka in 3 One Day Internationals, winning the series 2–1. These were the first ever international matches played by the Sri Lanka women's cricket team.
The Sri Lanka women's national cricket team toured the West Indies in April and May 2012. They played three One Day Internationals and five Twenty20 Internationals against the West Indies, losing the ODI series 2–1 and losing the T20I series 3–1.
The Pakistan women's national cricket team toured Sri Lanka in April 1998. They played Sri Lanka in three One Day Internationals and one Test match, losing all four matches. The Test match was the first ever played in the format by either side, and the only one that has ever been played by Sri Lanka.

The India women's cricket team toured Sri Lanka to play against the Sri Lanka women's cricket team in June and July 2022. The tour consisted of three Women's One Day International (WODI) and three Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) matches. The WODI matches were part of 2022–2025 ICC Women's Championship. Both teams used the matches as preparation for the women's cricket tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England. Harmanpreet Kaur was named as India's new captain for the tour, after Mithali Raj announced her retirement from international cricket.
