Since their first match in 2009, 53 women have represented the Sri Lanka national women's cricket team in Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is). [1] A Twenty20 International is a cricket match between two international representative teams, each having WT20I status, as determined by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

This list includes all players who have played at least one Twenty20 International match and is initially arranged in the order of debut appearance. Where more than one player won their first cap in the same match, their names are initially listed alphabetically by last name at the time of debut.

In November 2017, she was named the Women's Cricketer of the Year for the 2016–17 season at Sri Lanka Cricket's annual awards. She is the first Sri Lankan woman to play in franchise cricket. In November 2023, it was announced that a special dedicated seating zone at the Sydney Cricket Ground would be named after Chamari Atapattu as the Chamari Bay.

    Dickwella Patabendige Dilantha Niroshan Dickwella, known as Niroshan Dickwella, is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer, who plays all formats of the game for Sri Lanka. A left-hand batsman, he also plays as a wicket-keeper of the team. Dickwella is known for hitting left handed Dilscoops. In November 2017, he was named the emerging cricketer of the year for the 2016–17 season at Sri Lanka Cricket's annual awards.

    Balapuwaduge Kusal Gimhan Mendis, popularly known as Kusal Mendis is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who plays as a top-order batter in all forms of the game. He only played sixteen first-class matches before playing for the national side. In November 2017, he was named the One Day International (ODI) batsman of the year for the 2016–17 season at Sri Lanka Cricket's annual awards.

    Dhananjaya Maduranga de Silva, or commonly Dhananjaya de Silva is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer, who plays for Sri Lanka in all formats of the game and for Tamil Union in domestic cricket and also serves as the vice-captain of the national team in ODI and Test. In November 2017, he was named the Test batsman of the year for the 2016–17 season at Sri Lanka Cricket's annual awards.

    The West Indies cricket team toured Sri Lanka in February and March 2020 to play three One Day International (ODI) and two Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The full schedule for the tour was confirmed by Sri Lanka Cricket on 21 January 2020. The West Indies last toured Sri Lanka in October and November 2015.

    The Netherlands women's national cricket team toured Sri Lanka in November 1997. They played Sri Lanka in 3 One Day Internationals, winning the series 2–1. The matches were the first ever played by the Sri Lanka women's cricket team.

    The Sri Lanka women's national cricket team toured the West Indies in April and May 2012. They played the West Indies in three One Day Internationals and five Twenty20 Internationals, losing the ODI series 2–1 and losing the T20I series 3–1.

    The Pakistan women's national cricket team toured Sri Lanka in April 1998. They played Sri Lanka in three One Day Internationals and one Test match, losing all four matches. The Test match was the first ever played in the format by either side, and the only one that has ever been played by Sri Lanka.

    Rajapaksha Mudiyanselage Vishmi Dewmini Gunarathne is a Sri Lankan cricketer who currently plays for Chilaw Marians Cricket Club and Sri Lanka. She plays as a right-handed batter.

    Sachini Nisansala Lakshitha is a Sri Lankan cricketer. She plays as a slow left-arm orthodox bowler and a left-handed batter.

    Edirisooriya Mohottilage Kaushini Nuthyanga Heram Senavirathna is a Sri Lankan cricketer.
