Gamba Osaka Gamba Boy.jpg Gamba BoyA boy who wears a white toga and blue cape, occasionally he also holds a lightning. Have a belt with letter P on its buckle. Today, he primarily wears Gamba Osaka's kit.

Yokohama F. Marinos Marinoskun.png Marinos-kun, Marinosuke and MarinThree anthropomorphic seagulls. Marinosuke is Marinos's nephew and Marin is Marinos-kun’s and Marinosuke’s girlfriend and wears a red bow.

Kagoshima United FC Yunaiku.png UnikuA breed of dog local to Kagoshima, but also looks like a cat, as he is "Yuniaku" (which is unique in Japanese).

Montedio Yamagata Dio2 Yamagata.png Montes, DioMontes is the god of mountain. Dio is the god of war, mountain deer-shaped. According to his backstory, he is officially 167cm tall, but as he is a god, he can be as tall as he likes. His favorite player is Diego Maradona.
Oita Trinita Neetan.png NeetanAn anthropomorphic turtle with a blue and green colour scheme. Neetan's shell is segmented in the shape of a soccer ball, and his cleats have the same design. The club's "T" logo appears on his chest, and a map of Oita Prefecture on his back. He also has little yellow wings popping out of his carapace, and winged designs by his ears.
Renofa Yamaguchi FC Reno-maruA lion.
Roasso Kumamoto Roassokun.png Roasso-kunA horse, referencing Kumamoto being well known for racing horses. Occasionally, the club also uses Kumamon, the mascot of Kumamoto Prefecture.
Shimizu S-Pulse Palchan.png Pul, Co-Pul (small shaped sidekick), PicalAn anthropomorphic rabbit whose ears resemble wings; according to the team profile, they are designed to symbolize "S-Pulse players flying quickly in the field." Tohoku derby (東北ダービー) refers to matches played between professional football clubs of Tohoku region, Japan. This area consists of six prefectures and such clubs include Vanraure Hachinohe, Iwate Grulla Morioka, Vegalta Sendai, Blaublitz Akita, Montedio Yamagata, Fukushima United FC, and Iwaki FC. Historically, the most significant are games which were played between Vegalta and Montedio, the two most successful of Tohoku's football clubs. The Blaublitz vs Montedio derby is called Ōu Honsen and played in the former Dewa Province. The Nambu derby is a football rivalry between Vanraure and Grulla, both teams are based in old Nambu domain territory. The Fukushima derby is the match in the Prefecture, between Fukushima United and Iwaki FC.

The 2024 J3 League, also known as the 2024 Meiji Yasuda J3 League for sponsorship reasons, is the 11th season of the J3 League, the third-tier Japanese professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2013.
