Blood Duster was an Australian extreme metal and stoner rock band from Melbourne. Their name came from the song "Blood Duster" by John Zorn, from the 1989 album Naked City.

Southern Lord is an American heavy metal record label that was founded in 1998 by Greg Anderson. It initially specialized in experimental metal: particularly doom metal, stoner rock, and drone metal. The label's logo is a homage to Thrasher magazine, as Pearson was a skateboard culture enthusiast.

Mortician is an American death metal band formed in Yonkers, New York, in 1989. They have released most of their albums since their House by the Cemetery EP with Relapse Records, but have released their latest album with their own label, Mortician Records. They have toured several times throughout America and Europe. The band is inspired by horror and slasher films, which is heavily expressed in the lyrics, artwork, and the uses of samples throughout their discography.

The New England Metal and Hardcore Festival is an annual festival held in Worcester, Massachusetts, United States. The weekend-long concert of heavy metal and hardcore punk bands along with a merchandising and promotional area for record labels and other vendors, has been held in the Worcester Palladium since its inception in 1999.

Teitanblood is a Spanish extreme metal band formed in 2003. Based in Madrid, the band currently consists of NSK and J (drums). The band released its debut album, Seven Chalices in 2009. Its follow-up, Death, was released 13 May 2014 via The Ajna Offensive and Norma Evangelium Diaboli record labels. The latter record was included on Decibel magazine’s list of Top 40 Albums Of 2014 as number 26.
