Andrew Barrowman is a Scottish retired professional footballer, who played as a striker. A journeyman, Barrowman played for 15 different sides during his career, including Rangers, Ross County and Dunfermline Athletic in Scotland and Birmingham City and Walsall in England.
Neil Doherty McCann is a Scottish football pundit, former professional player and former manager. He currently works as a pundit for BBC Scotland's Sportscene.
Calum Elliot is a Scottish former professional footballer, who is currently the manager of Scottish League Two club Bonnyrigg Rose.
James McIntyre is a Scottish football coach and former player who was most recently the manager of Arbroath.
Barry Smith is a Scottish football coach and former player, who was most recently the manager of Scottish League Two club Elgin City. As a player, Smith played in the right back, centre back, and defensive midfielder roles for Celtic, Dundee, Valur, Partick Thistle, Greenock Morton and Brechin City. Smith was admitted into Dundee's Hall of Fame having made 400 appearances for the club.
John McGlynn is a Scottish football coach and former player who manages Scottish Championship club Falkirk. He has previously managed Scottish clubs Raith Rovers, Heart of Midlothian and Livingston.

John Potter is a Scottish football player and coach, who is the technical director of Raith Rovers.
Laurie Ellis is a Scottish football coach and former professional footballer who is currently a coach with the Rangers Academy. He played for Raith Rovers over three spells, as well as St Mirren, Cowdenbeath and Stirling Albion. As a coach, he has twice served as caretaker manager at Dundee United and managed Queen's Park between May and December 2021.
Liam Fox is a Scottish professional football coach and former player, who is currently an assistant first team coach at Scottish Premiership club Heart of Midlothian. He has previously held the roles of Hearts B manager, as well as caretaker manager of the Hearts first team.
Cameron 'Cammy' Kerr is a Scottish football player and coach who plays as a defender for Scottish Championship club Queen's Park.
The 2016–17 season was Hibernian's (Hibs) third season of play in the second tier of Scottish football the Scottish Championship, since they were relegated from the Scottish Premiership at the end of the 2013–14 season. Hibs also competed in the Europa League, Challenge Cup, League Cup and they defended the Scottish Cup after winning the 2016 final.

The 2021–22 season was Hibernian's (Hibs) fifth season of play back in the top league of Scottish football, having been promoted from the Scottish Championship at the end of the 2016–17 season. Hibs lost 2–1 to Celtic in the League Cup final and by the same score to Hearts in a Scottish Cup semi-final. Earlier in the season they participated in the inaugural edition of the UEFA Europa Conference League, losing to Croatian side HNK Rijeka.

The 2022–23 season was Arbroath's fourth consecutive season in the Scottish Championship, following their promotion from Scottish League One in the 2018–19 season. Arbroath also competed in the Scottish League Cup, Scottish Challenge Cup and the Scottish Cup.
The 2023–24 season was Dundee United's 115th season. It was their first season back in the Scottish Championship, having been relegated from the Scottish Premiership at the end of the 2022–23 season. The club also participated in the League Cup, Challenge Cup and Scottish Cup.
