It was placed on display at Lackland Air Force Base. Built by Ford at Willow Run it was donated to the museum by the Ford Motor Company arriving in 1999. Painted as 44-50493 of the 392nd Bombardment Group/578th Bombardment Squadron United States Army Air Force based at RAF Wendling in Norfolk, England, and named Dugan.

Since 1996 it has been displayed as 44-31171, a PBJ-1J of the United States Marine Corps. It has now been repainted to represent B-25J 43-4064 "LI'L Critter From the Moon" of the 488th Bomb Squadron, 340th Bomb Group of the USAAF's Twelfth Air Force in the latter stages of World War Two.

It was placed in the Fleet Air Arm museum in 1986 and transferred to Duxford in 1996. Painted as S.4513 to represent an aircraft flown in 1918 by Captain Rickenbacker with the United States Army Air Service in France.

BAC One Eleven 500 BAC 1-11 (5921259077).jpg G-AVMUOperated by BEA from 1969 until British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) and BEA merged to form British Airways in 1972. After retirement by British Airways it was donated to the society and flown to Duxford in 1993. Displayed in the British Airways Landor Associates livery and named County of Dorset. [7]

Hawker Siddeley Trident 2E Hawker Siddeley Trident 2E G-AVFB (9124923641).jpg G-AVFBPainted in British European Airways markings to represent the first operator of the aircraft between 1968 and 1972. Used by Cyprus Airways until it suffered damage during the Turkish invasion of Cyprus and was abandoned at Nicosia airport. It was recovered by British Airways and repaired; and continued in service until 1982, when it was donated to the society and flown to Duxford. [12]
Vickers Viscount 701 G-ALWF Vickers Viscount (9460217268).jpg G-ALWFPainted to represent a viscount of British European Airways with the original name Sir John Franklin. Whiskey Foxtrot was the second production aircraft and was delivered to British European Airways in 1953. The last operator was Cambrian Airways. She was retired in 1971 and placed on display at Liverpool Airport with the Viscount Preservation Trust. Transferred to the Duxford Aviation Society and moved to Duxford by road in 1976. [13]

The Vickers VC10 is a mid-sized, narrow-body long-range British jet airliner designed and built by Vickers-Armstrongs (Aircraft) Ltd and first flown at Brooklands, Surrey, in 1962. The VC10 is often compared to the larger Soviet Ilyushin Il-62, the two types being the only airliners to use a rear-engined quad layout, while the smaller business jet Lockheed JetStar also has this engine arrangement.

The Westland Whirlwind helicopter was a British licence-built version of the U.S. Sikorsky S-55/H-19 Chickasaw. It primarily served with the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm in anti-submarine and search and rescue roles. It was also exported to other countries, and the Whirlwind was succeeded by the turbine powered Westland Wessex which was developed from the H-19/Whirlwind. The helicopter was made in many variants using a variety of radial (piston) and turbine engines.

The de Havilland DH.110 Sea Vixen is a British twin-engine, twin boom-tailed, two-seat, carrier-based fleet air-defence fighter flown by the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm from the 1950s to the early 1970s. The Sea Vixen was designed by the de Havilland Aircraft Company during the late 1940s at its Hatfield aircraft factory in Hertfordshire, developed from the company's earlier first generation jet fighters. It was later called the Hawker Siddeley Sea Vixen after de Havilland was absorbed by the Hawker Siddeley Corporation in 1960.

The site also provides storage space for the museum's other collections of material such as film, photographs, documents, books and artefacts. The site accommodates several British Army regimental museums, including those of the Parachute Regiment and the Royal Anglian Regiment.

No. 1426 Flight RAF, nicknamed the Rafwaffe, was a Royal Air Force (RAF) independent aircraft flight formed during the Second World War to evaluate captured enemy aircraft and demonstrate their characteristics to other allied units. Several aircraft on charge with the Royal Aircraft Establishment (RAF) at Farnborough were also used by this unit. The RAE facilities at Farnborough were used for the flight testing of German and Italian aircraft during the war.

It is registered as a private limited company.
