Andorra, officially the Principality of Andorra, is a sovereign landlocked country on the Iberian Peninsula, in the eastern Pyrenees in Western Europe, bordered by France to the north and Spain to the south. Believed to have been created by Charlemagne, Andorra was ruled by the count of Urgell until 988, when it was transferred to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Urgell. The present principality was formed by a charter in 1278. It is currently headed by two co-princes: the bishop of Urgell in Catalonia, Spain and the president of France. Its capital and largest city is Andorra la Vella.

Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) rights in Andorra have advanced significantly in the 21st century, and are now considered generally progressive. Civil unions, which grant all the benefits of marriage, have been recognized since 2014, and discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation is constitutionally banned. The General Council passed a bill on 21 July 2022 that would legalize same-sex marriage in 2023, and convert all civil unions into civil marriage. In September 2023, Xavier Espot Zamora, the Prime Minister of Andorra, officially came out as homosexual.

Futbol Club Andorra is a professional football club based in Andorra la Vella, Andorra, that currently competes in Primera Federación – Group 1, in the Spanish league system. The club was founded in 1942 and currently plays its home fixtures at Estadi Nacional. In spite of being based in the microstate of Andorra, the club, voluntarily affiliated to the Catalan Football Federation, has been allowed to compete in Spanish leagues since 1948.

Banc Internacional d'Andorra - Banca Mora is the joint trading name of two Andorran banks, Banc Internacional d'Andorra and its wholly owned subsidiary Banca Mora. The two are known collectively as BIBM or Inter-Mora. The consolidated bank accounts for just under 30% of Andorran domestic banking net assets and slightly over 30% of deposits.

The 2020 ACB Playoffs, also known as 2020 Liga Endesa Playoffs for sponsorship reasons, was the postseason tournament of the ACB's 2019–20 season, which began on 24 September 2019. The playoffs started on 17 June 2020 and ended on 30 June 2020 with the Final. All matches were played behind closed doors.

The 2022 EuroCup Basketball Playoffs began on 19 April with the eighthfinals and ended on 11 May 2022 with the final at the Virtus Segafredo Arena in Bologna, Italy, to decide the champions of the 2021–22 EuroCup Basketball. A total of 16 teams competed in the playoffs.
