Shaanxi is an inland province in Northwestern China. It borders the province-level divisions of Shanxi, Henan (E), Hubei (SE), Chongqing (S), Sichuan (SW), Gansu (W), Ningxia (NW), and Inner Mongolia (N).
Lintong District, formerly Lintong County, is one of 11 urban districts of the prefecture-level city of Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi Province, Northwest China. The district was approved to establish from the former Lintong County (临潼县) by the Chinese State Council on June 25, 1997. The Terracotta Army and the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor was discovered in March 1974 near this district. The district borders the prefecture-level cities of Xianyang to the northwest and Weinan to the east, Gaoling County to the northeast, Baqiao District to the southeast, Lianhu and Xincheng Districts to the south, and Chang'an District to the southwest.
The Nanjing Botanical Garden Memorial Sun Yat-Sen, established in 1929, became the first national botanical garden in China. The original name, 'Botanical Garden Memorial Sun Yat-Sen', commemorated Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, the pioneer of Chinese democratic revolution. In 1954, it was renamed as Nanjing Botanical Garden Mem. Sun Yat-Sen, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is one of four major botanical gardens in China. The botanical garden is also known as Zhongshan Botanical Garden after the spelling of its name in pinyin.
Air Changan is a Chinese domestic airline. Its main operating base is Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, serving several cities in Shaanxi Province. Initially an independent carrier, Air Changan merged with Hainan Airlines in 2000 and was later absorbed into that airline. Air Changan resumed service as an independent airline in May 2016, providing flights to four Chinese cities with three Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The China National Botanical Garden is a national botanical garden located in Haidian, Beijing, China. Chartered in 2022, the garden is co-sponsored by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Beijing Municipal People's Government.
Baoji is a prefecture-level city in western Shaanxi province, People's Republic of China. Since the early 1990s, Baoji has been the second largest city in Shaanxi.
Liriodendron chinense is Asia's native species in the genus Liriodendron. This native of central and southern China grows in the provinces of Anhui, Guangxi, Jiangsu, Fujian, Guizhou, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Shaanxi, Zhejiang, Sichuan and Yunnan, and also locally in northern Vietnam. Protected populations occur in the Tianmushan National Reserve, Huangshan, Wuyi Shan, and Badagongshan Nature Reserve.
The Longhai railway, formerly romanized as the Lunghai railway, is a major arterial east–west railway in China. It runs from Lianyungang, Jiangsu, on the Yellow Sea to Lanzhou, Gansu, through the provinces of Jiangsu, Anhui, Henan, Shaanxi, and Gansu, covering a total length of 1,759 kilometres (1,093 mi). The line is named after Gansu, also known as Long (陇) in Chinese and Lianyungang's previous name, Haizhou. The Longhai Line is one of the busiest Chinese railways. It has dual tracks throughout and electrification was completed in 2009.
Xi'an District is a district of the city of Mudanjiang, Heilongjiang Province, China. Spanning an area of 445 square kilometres (172 sq mi) in area, the district makes up the southwest portion of Mudanjiang's urban area. Xi'an District is notable for its large Korean community, and is home to more than 24,000 Koreans.

The Nanjing–Xi'an railway or Ningxi railway, is a major trunkline railroad in China connecting Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province and Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi Province. The Chinese name for the line, Ningxi, is named after the two terminal cities, Ning, the Chinese character shorthand for the city of Nanjing, and Xi for Xian. The line is 1,196 km (743 mi) in length and comprises the Xi’an-Hefei section in the west, 1,196 km (743 mi) in length, that opened on January 7, 2004. And the high-speed Hefei–Nanjing section in the east, better known as the Hefei–Nanjing passenger railway, 166 km (103 mi) in length opened on April 18, 2008. In addition, a connection line 72 km (45 mi) in length was built in 2004 connected the main line in Sui County and the Hankou–Danjiangkou railway in northern Hubei. The Ningxi railway passes through five provinces in central and eastern China. Major cities along route include Nanjing and Pukou in Jiangsu Province; Feidong, Hefei and Lu'an in Anhui Province; Huangchuan, Xinyang, Nanyang and Xixia County in Henan Province and Shangluo, Weinan and Xian in Shaanxi Province. The main line skirts Hubei Province near Sui County.
The Lanzhou Botanical Garden is a botanical garden located in north-western part of the city's Anning District, near the Science Park of Lanzhou Jiaotong University. The 214 ha large park was constructed in 1993 and features over 200 plant species situated around a 19 ha pond
Fairylake Botanical Garden or Xianhu Botanical Garden is a 1,349.20-acre (546.00 ha) botanical garden and arboretum located at Liantang Subdistrict, Luohu District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China. The garden is located at the foot of Wutong Mountain, beside the Shenzhen Reservoir. It was categorized as a "national AAAA level tourist site" by the China National Tourism Administration in 2007 and a "national key park" by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development in 2008.
China National Botanical Garden station, formerly known as Botanical Garden station, is a station on Xijiao line of the Beijing Subway. It was opened on 30 December 2017. On April 18, 2022, following the renaming of China National Botanical Garden, the station was renamed to current name.
Founded in 2002, Ruili Botanical Garden and Nanmaohu Park is a botanical garden in Ruili. Located 6 km from the city in Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan in the South-West of China near the Myanmar border. The park has more than 5,000 acres of well-preserved native vegetation, mainly monsoon evergreen broad-leaved forest, with more than 1,200 species of tropical and subtropical plants.
Hunan Botanical Garden, formerly known as Hunan Forest Botanical Garden, is a botanical garden and arboretum located in Yuhua District of Changsha, Hunan, China. Covering an area of 1.4-square-kilometre (350-acre), the garden was established in 1985 and opened to the public in 1985. It serves multiple functions, including botanical research, scientific education, exsitu conservation, exhibition, and tourism. It is also the only integrated organization for botanical research, conservation and utilization in Hunan.
Xi'an Museum is a museum on Youyi West Road, Beilin District, Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China. Xi'an Museum had its official opening on 18 May 2007, "National Museum Day", with a total investment of 220 million RMB and a total area of 160,000 square meters. The complex includes three parts: the museum proper, the Tang-era Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Jianfu Temple historic area, and the museum gardens.
