<i>2001 Nights</i> Japanese manga series and its franchise

2001 Nights is a science fiction manga series written and illustrated by Yukinobu Hoshino and originally serialized in Futabasha's Monthly Super Action starting from June 1984. It was then collected into three bound volumes by Futabasha, released between August 18, 1985 and October 24, 1986. The series was licensed for an English-language release by Viz Media and published in North America starting in 1990. 2001 Nights is largely inspired by classic hard science fiction, with many visual homages to previous science fiction novels and films.

Yū Kobayashi is a Japanese voice actress and singer affiliated with Holy Peak. Some of her most prominent roles include that of Tadamichi Aoba in Dan Doh!!, Setsuna Sakurazaki in Negima! Magister Negi Magi, Dan Kuso in Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Misaki Hijiri in Saint October, Kaede Kimura in Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei, Sasha Blouse in Attack on Titan, Lucina in the Japanese version of the Fire Emblem series, Luka Urushibara in Steins;Gate, and Charlotte Roselei in Black Clover, among others.

Erino Hazuki is a Japanese voice actress who works for Aksent. On February 24, 2014, she announced that she had been married around December 2013.

Feel, Inc. is a Japanese animation studio founded in 2002. The studio is a subsidiary of Fun-Media, a Holdings company, who also owns animation studios Assez Finaud Fabric and Zexcs, which are also located in the same building as Feel.

Reiko Yoshida is a Japanese screenwriter. She has written and supervised numerous screenplays for anime series, live-action dramas and films. Her major works include Kaleido Star, Aria, Maria-sama ga Miteru, D.Gray-man, K-On!, Bakuman, and Girls und Panzer. In more recent works, she has supervised the screenplays for Majestic Prince, Non Non Biyori, A Town Where You Live, Tamako Market, Yowamushi Pedal, and Castle Town Dandelion. In films, she wrote the screenplay for The Cat Returns, the original films that would make up Digimon: The Movie, Kyoto Animation’s hit anime film A Silent Voice, and the film adaptations of Osamu Tezuka's Buddha, the second film of which was given a stamp of approval by the Dalai Lama. She wrote the story for the manga series Tokyo Mew Mew along with illustrator Mia Ikumi. Among her works, she was recognized for Best Screenplay/Original Work for Girls und Panzer at the Tokyo Anime Award Festival in 2014, and she won another Best Screenplay/Original Work award in 2017. In 2018, she wrote the screenplay for Violet Evergarden which aired on TV in Japan and is licensed by Netflix. Her latest project is the animated series The Heike Story, produced with animation studio Science Saru.

Atsushi Abe is a Japanese voice actor and narrator represented by Ken Production. Some of his major roles include Toma Kamijo in the A Certain Magical Index / A Certain Scientific Railgun series, Kukai Soma in Shugo Chara, Moritaka Mashiro in Bakuman, Takashi Kosuda in B Gata H Kei, Koichi Sakakibara in Another, Touichirou Izumida in Yowamushi Pedal, and Kokonotsu Shikada in Dagashi Kashi.

Hana no Asuka-gumi! is a Japanese manga by Satosumi Takaguchi serialized in Monthly Asuka. It was adapted into a television drama series, two live action films, two OVAs and two drama CDs. It is one of the series with delinquent girls (sukeban) popular in the 1980s. Two new manga series were published, one from 2003 to 2009 and the other from 2007 to 2008.

Yuma Uchida is a Japanese voice actor and singer who works for Intention. He is best known for his roles as Yuuma Kousaka in Gundam Build Fighters Try, Nagisa Kiryū in Classroom Crisis, Megumi Fushiguro in Jujutsu Kaisen, Eishirō Yabuki in The Asterisk War, Hayate Immelmann in Macross Delta, Ein Dalton in Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Iori Kitahara in Grand Blue, Kyo Sohma in Fruits Basket, and Ash Lynx in Banana Fish. He is currently voicing Kawaki in Boruto. He received the 11th Seiyu Awards for Best Male Newcomer with Setsuo Itō and Yusuke Kobayashi. In 2019, he won Best Male Lead Actor in the 13th Seiyu Awards. He made his singing debut in May 2018 under the King Records label. His older sister is voice actress Maaya Uchida.

Her major voice roles include Nanako Usami in Locodol, Ann Akagi in Action Heroine Cheer Fruits, Kokoro Tsurumaki in BanG Dream!, Miku Nakano in The Quintessential Quintuplets, and Hougetsu Shimamura in Adachi and Shimamura.
