Mariuccia Iacovino was a Brazilian violinist and instructor. A child prodigy on the violin, she studied in Brazil and Spain and performed internationally. At the end of World War II, she moved to Paris and performed as a soloist with the Cologne Orchestra. In 1964, she and the Quarteto da Guanabara received the first prize from the international Villa-Lobos String Quartet Competition and in 1966, she was awarded the Carlos Gomes Medal in Rio de Janeiro.
Helza Cameu was a Brazilian composer, pianist, musicologist, and author. Winning national competitions with her compositions, she worked as a musicologist at the National Museum, preserving indigenous music and cataloguing instruments. She also gave lectures at the National School of Music and was enrolled in the Brazilian Academy of Music in 1946.

Naomi Munakata was a Japanese-born Brazilian choral conductor and academic teacher based in the city of São Paulo. She was conductor of Coro da OSESP, the choir of the Orquestra Sinfônica do Estado de São Paulo, from 1995 to 2013, and then principal conductor of Coral Paulistano Mário de Andrade at the Municipal Theatre. She was among the choral conductors in South America who "have contributed to the strengthening and stimulation of choral music", according to The Cambridge Companion to Choral Music.

He was the coordinator of free courses at Academia Internacional de Cinema in São Paulo, and is a member of the Associação Brasileira de Críticos de Arte. In 2015 he started researching about the power of culture in the world, with an emphasis on artistic productions and audiovisual entertainment in the 21st century.

Miss Rondônia is a Brazilian Beauty pageant which selects the representative for the State of Rondônia at the Miss Brazil contest. The pageant was created in 1964 and has been held every year since with the exception of 1954–1963, 1969, 1977–1978, 1990, 1991, 1993, and 2020. The pageant is held annually with representation of several municipalities. Since 2023, the State Director of Miss Rondônia is Eletícia Dias. Rondônia still has yet to win any crowns in the national contest

The President Itamar Franco Culture Center is a cultural and institutional complex located in the Barro Preto neighborhood, in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. The Center houses the Sala Minas Gerais and the headquarters of the Minas Gerais Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as the gastronomic space Mineiraria, and the headquarters of Rede Minas and Rádio Inconfidência. The complex was designed by local architects Jô Vasconcellos and Rafael Yanni, with acoustic consultancy by José Augusto Nepomuceno for the concert hall.
