Armed Conflict Location & Event Data (ACLED) is a non-profit organization specializing in disaggregated conflict data collection, analysis, and crisis mapping. ACLED codes the dates, actors, locations, fatalities, and types of all reported political violence and demonstration events around the world in real time. As of 2022, ACLED has recorded more than 1.3 million individual events globally. In addition to data collection, the ACLED team conducts analysis to describe, explore, and test conflict scenarios, with analysis made freely available to the public for non-commercial use.

The Idlib Governorate clashes were a series of military confrontations between Ahrar al-Sham and Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS). During the clashes, Tahrir al-Sham attempted to capture the Bab al-Hawa Border Crossing, causing concern for Turkey, which prefers Ahrar al-Sham to be in control of the crossing. As a result of the clashes, HTS took control of Idlib city, the Bab al-Hawa Border Crossing, and most of the areas along the Turkish border in the Idlib Province.

On 4 March 2022, a military engagement took place between the Russian Armed Forces and the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the city of Enerhodar in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, on the southern front of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. Ukraine Siren Alerts (UASA) is a siren alert electronic system created by Israeli student Bernard 'Boaz' Moerdler. The system automatically alerts users of sirens in Ukraine using data from municipal and cities who post alerts on their website and is based on Israel's Red Color system, which alerts users when a siren is sounded anywhere in Israel. Initially launched on Twitter, the system has since expanded to Telegram and Facebook channels alongside releasing their new website which includes SMS and email alerts.

The Cyber Defence Campus (CYD Campus) is a competence centre of the Swiss Confederation for information security (cybersecurity). It is affiliated to the Federal Office of Defence Procurement, armasuisse and thus to the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS). It pursues strategic objectives that are defined within the Cyber Defence Action Plan, the DDPS Cyber Strategy and the National Cyber Strategy (NCS). It is the link between the public administration, industry and academia in research, development and training for cyber defence. The aim of the CYD Campus is to identify developments in the cyber area and drive innovation in the field of cyber defence.
