Career

Lucky Starzzz is a drag performer competing on the upcoming seventeenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race . [2] She references her style as "Drag toon."

She has performed at Nathan's Beach Club, [3] Palace South Beach, Georgie's Alibi and more.

She also appeared at the Pridelines "Queerferno" gala, [4] which featured guests such as Lady Bunny, Miami-Dade Mayor Daniella Cava, and local drag performer Vanessa Monroe, an original member of the House of Xtravaganza.

Additionally, she performed at Out My Closet’s 2024 Transcon Pop-Up.

In 2023, Lucky Starzzz participated in Miami's Wigwood festival, delivering a performance that combined "Toxic" by Britney Spears and "Maneater" by Nelly Furtado. She also took part in the Miami Beach Pride parade that year. In 2023, she performed at the LGBT Task Force Gala in Miami and was engaged to promote the 2024 event scheduled for October 19, 2024.

Personal life

Lucky Starzzz was born in Havana, Cuba and is based in Miami, Florida. [5] She moved from Havana to Miami at the age of 3. [6]

Lucky credits her transgender aunt, a former drag queen, as one of her earliest and most impactful inspirations.

Lucky Starzzz is known for her close friendships with fellow Miami-based drag performers, including RuPaul's Drag Race alumni Malaysia Babydoll Foxx, Morphine Love Dion, and Mhi'ya Iman Le'Paige. Malaysia notably assisted Lucky by covering oversized baggage fees to ensure her attendance on the set of RuPaul's Drag Race. [7]

Drag Style

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Lucky elaborated on her whimsical and surreal drag aesthetic, stating:

“I like to kind of look like just this crazy character, sometimes with big boobs, that are not literal boobs, maybe cherries, coconuts cut open with straws coming out, planet Earths that are cracked because the world is ending.”
