Career

Kori King is a drag performer. In 2023, she performed alongside Kesha as part of the Only Love Tour. [2] That same year, she was awarded the "Boston's Best New Performer to Watch" award. [3]

Personal life

Kori King was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts [4] and is currently based there. [5] They used to be an animator before starting drag. [6]

Sutan Ibrahim Karim Amrullah, often shortened to Sutan Amrull, is an American drag queen and make-up artist who also goes by the stage name Raja Gemini or simply Raja. They are best known for winning the third season of RuPaul's Drag Race. Amrullah later returned to compete on the seventh season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, an all-winners season, where he won the title "Queen Of She Done Already Done Had Herses". Outside of drag, Amrullah is also known for their makeup artistry on the reality television show America's Next Top Model. Amrullah's clients include Tyra Banks, Dita von Teese, Pamela Anderson, Paulina Porizkova, Iman, Iggy Azalea, RuPaul, and Twiggy. Since 2009, Amrullah has been make-up artist to singer Adam Lambert for print media, live U.S. appearances, and Lambert's international 2010 Glam Nation Tour.

Love was the first person to ever come out as transgender on any reality TV show. Upon winning All Stars 6, Love became the second trans woman to win an installment of the Drag Race franchise, and was the first to win an American series. Additionally, in 2020, she co-hosted Translation Season 1, the first talk show on a major network hosted by an all-trans cast. Her first single, "Santa, Please Come Home", was released in 2018.
