As of the census [2] of 2000, there were 227 people, 90 households, and 68 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 27.4 people per square mile (10.6 people/km2). There were 101 housing units at an average density of 12.2 per square mile (4.7/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 48.02% White, 42.73% Native American, and 9.25% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.88% of the population.
There were 90 households, out of which 32.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.3% were married couples living together, 14.4% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.4% were non-families. 23.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 12.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.52 and the average family size was 2.93.
In the CDP, the population was spread out, with 27.3% under the age of 18, 4.4% from 18 to 24, 23.3% from 25 to 44, 30.4% from 45 to 64, and 14.5% who were 65 years of age or older.
