Mesechthistatus furciferus is a species of beetle in the family Cerambycidae. It was described by Henry Walter Bates in 1884. [1] [2] [3] It is endemic to Japan [1] [2] [3] [4] and occurs in central Honshu. [5]
Adults measure 13–23 mm (0.51–0.91 in) [1] [4] and are flightless. [5]
