The Mexicana Universal is a national beauty pageant in Mexico held annually since 2018, replacing the former pageant, Nuestra Belleza México, held since 1994. Currently, the pageant is responsible for selecting the country's delegates to Miss International, Reina Hispanoamericana, Miss Charm, Nuestra Latinoamericana Universal, and Miss Orb International. The current Mexicana Universal is Melissa Flores of Michoacán, who represented Mexico at Miss Universe 2023 but was unplaced.

Mexicana Universal 2020 was the 3rd edition of the Mexicana Universal beauty pageant held on November 29, 2020. 30 candidates from all over Mexico competed for the national title. Claudia Lozano of Nuevo León crowned Andrea Meza of Chihuahua at the end event. Meza represented Mexico at the Miss Universe 2020 pageant which she won to become the third Mexican Miss Universe.
Mexicana Universal 2022 was the 4th edition of the Mexicana Universal beauty pageant. Débora Hallal of Sinaloa crowned Irma Miranda of Sonora as her successor at the end of the event, and will represent Mexico at the upcoming Miss Universe 2022. The other winners include Itzia García of Colima as Mexicana International 2023, Diana Robles of Guanajuato as Mexicana Hispanoamericana 2022, and Verónica Gamboa of Nayarit as Mexicana Latinoamericana 2023.
